أَرْوَاحُنَا تُرَوَّحْ وَالصَّدْرُ صَاحِ يُشْرَحْ
En
صَلاةُ الله على مَنْ
صَدْرُهْ بِالنُّورِ مَشْروحْ
ṣalātu Allah ʿlā man
ṣadruh bin nūri mashrwḥ
May God’s blessings be upon the one
Whose chest was opened with light
المُصطَفَى مُحَمَّدْ
حَبِيبِ القَلبِ وَالرُّوحْ
almuṣṭafā muḥammad
ḥabībil qalbi war rūḥ
The Chosen One, Muhammad
Beloved of the heart and soul
أَرْوَاحُنَا تُرَوَّحْ
وَالصَّدْرْ صَاحْ يِشْرَحْ
arwāḥunā turawwaḥ
waṣ ṣadr ṣāḥ yishraḥ
Our spirits are refreshed
And the breast is opened in joyful relief
فِي جَاهْ طَهَ الأَفْسَحْ
فَاحْضُرْ مَعَانَا تَرْبَحْ
fī jāh ṭahal afsaḥ
faḥ ḍur maʿānā tarbaḥ
Through the rank of Ṭāhā, the most expansive in grace
So join us, and you will prosper
وَاشْرَبْ لِكَأْسٍ أَطيَبْ
وذُقْ هَوَانَا وَاطْرَبْ
wash rab lika’sin aṭyab
wdhuq hawānā waṭ rab
Drink from a most delightful cup
Taste our passionate love and be enraptured
وَفِي الحِمَى تَقَرَّب
تُعْطَى الصَّفَا وَتُمْنَحْ
wafīl ḥimā taqarrab
tuʿṭaṣ ṣafā watumnaḥ
Draw near within this sacred sanctuary
And you will be granted and gifted serenity
وَاعزِمْ بِصَدْقٍ كَامِلْ
مَعْ سَادَةِ الفَضَائِلْ
wa ʿzim biṣadqin kāmil
maʿ sādatil faḍā’il
Resolve with complete sincerity
To be with the masters of virtue
وَجَامِعِي الشَّمَائِلْ
وُرَّاثْ طَهَ الأَمْلَحْ
wajāmiʿīsh shamā’il
wurrāth ṭahal amlaḥ
Those who embody noble qualities
The inheritors of the radiant Ṭāhā
وَارْقَ إِلَى المَعَالِي
وَمُرْتَقَى الكَمَالِ
war qa ilal maʿālī
wamurtaqal kamāli
Ascend to lofty heights
And to the summit of perfection
تَظْفَرْ بِعَيْشٍ حَالِي
تَرُوْحُ بِهْ وَتَسْرَحْ
taẓfar biʿayshin ḥālī
taruwḥu bih watasraḥ
You will attain a sweet life
In which you go freely and joyfully
للهِ مِنْ مَقَامِ
عَالٍ وَرَافِعْ سَامِي
lillāhi min maqāmi
ʿālin warāfiʿ sāmī
How marvelous is the lofty, elevated, exalted station
Of the best of all humanity
لِخِيْرَةِ الأَنَامِ
مِنْ كُلِّ أَسْبَقْ أَصْلَحْ
likhiyratil anāmi
min kulli asbaq aṣlaḥ
The foremost and most righteous
Of every noble origin
وُرَّاثْ طَهَ الهَادِي
وَأَجْوَدِ الأَجْوَادِ
wurrāth ṭahal hādī
wa ajwadil ajwādi
The inheritors of Ṭāhā, the Guide
Of the most generous of the generous
وَجَامِعِ الأَمْجَادِ
وَكُلِّ وَصْفٍ أَمْلَحْ
wajāmiʿil amjādi
wakulli waṣfin amlaḥ
The gatherer of all glories
And every most beautiful quality
فِيْهِ المَلَاحَهْ تَمَّتْ
خَيْرَات فَضْلُهْ عَمَّتْ
fiyhil malāḥah tammat
khayrāt faḍluh ʿammat
In him, beauty was made complete
The goodness of his favor spread everywhere
لَهُ المَطَايَا أَمَّتْ
مِنْ كُلِّ رَكْبٍ أَفْلَحْ
lahul maṭāyā ammat
min kulli rakbin aflaḥ
Mounts came to him
From every successful caravan
يَافَوْزَنَا بِحُبِّهْ
نَظْفَرْ عَسَى بِقُرْبِه
yāfawzanā biḥubbih
naẓfar ʿasā biqurbih
How fortunate we are in loving him
May we attain nearness to him
مَعَ خِيَارِ حِزْبِهْ
مِنْ كُلِّ صَادِقْ أَنْجَحْ
maʿa khiyāri ḥizbih
min kulli ṣādiq anjaḥ
Alongside the finest of his company
Among every most sincere and successful one
هُوْ مَعْدِن النَّجَاحِ
وَالفَوْزِ وَالصَّلَاحِ
huw maʿdinn najāḥi
wal fawzi waṣ ṣalāḥi
He is the source of success
Triumph, and righteousness
وَرَاحَةُ الأَرْوَاحِ
بِهِ يَا احْبَابْ نَفْرَحْ
warāḥatul arwāḥi
bihi yaḥ bāb nafraḥ
And the comfort of souls
Through him, beloved ones, we rejoice
هُنَا وَفِيْ القِيَامَهْ
وَدَار لِلْمُقَامَهْ
hunā wafiyal qiyāmah
wadār lilmuqāmah
Here and on the Day of Resurrection
And in the Abode of everlasting dwelling
وَتُدْرِكُ السَّلَامَهْ
سَلَامْ رَبِّي تُمْنَحْ
watudrikus salāmah
salām rabbī tumnaḥ
May you attain salvation
May my Lord’s peace be bestowed upon you
تَحِيَّةِ الإلَهِ
لاهلِ المَقَامِ البَاهِي
taḥiyyatil ālahi
lāhlil maqāmil bāhī
God’s greeting
Upon the people of that splendid station
مِنْ عَارِفٍ أوَّاهِ
صَلَّى لَهُ وَسَبَّحْ
min ʿārifin awwāhi
ṣallā lahu wasabbaḥ
From a yearning, deeply knowing servant
Who sends blessings upon him and glorifies God
وَمُقْتَدٍ بِأَحْمَدْ
المُصْطَفَى مُحَمَّدْ
wamuqtadin bi aḥmad
almuṣṭafā muḥammad
And upon one who follows Aḥmed
The Chosen One, Muhammad
لَهُ الإلَه يَحْمَدْ
يَمْنَحُهْ حُبُّهْ يَمْنَحْ
lahul ālah yaḥmad
yamnaḥuh ḥubbuh yamnaḥ
Whom God Himself praises
May He grant him His love, and keep granting it
يَا رَبِّ هَبْنَا حُبَّا
وَمَعْرِفَهْ وَقُرْبَا
yā rabbi habnā ḥubbā
wamaʿrifah waqurbā
O Lord, grant us love,
Knowledge of You, and nearness to You
وَأَهْلَنَا وَصَحْبَا
وَعَنَّنَا اعْفُ وَاصْفَحْ
wa ahlanā waṣaḥbā
waʿannanaʿ fu waṣ faḥ
To us, our families, and our companions
Pardon us and overlook our faults
وَاخْتِمْ لَنَا بِالحُسْنَى
عَلَى مَقَامٍ أَسْنَى
wakh tim lanā bil ḥusnā
ʿalā maqāmin asnā
Grant us a good ending
At a most exalted station
وَشُربِ كَأَسٍ أَسْنَى
نَحِبْ لِقَائَكْ نَفْرَحْ
washurbi ka asin asnā
naḥib liqā’ak nafraḥ
And the drinking of a most radiant cup
We love the meeting with You and rejoice in it
نُرَافِقِ المُشَفَّعْ
ذَا القَدْرِ الأَعْلَى الأَرْفَعْ
nurāfiqil mushaffaʿ
dhal qadril aʿlal arfaʿ
May we accompany the intercessor
He of the highest and most elevated rank
فِي حَال فَوْقَ المَطْمَعْ
دُوْنُهْ جَمِيْعِ المَطْمَحْ
fī ḥaāl fawqal maṭmaʿ
duwnuh jamiyʿil maṭmaḥ
In a state beyond all hope and aspiration
For every aspiration falls short of him.
