For the gloom of misguidance, through Ahmad, there is a rending

And for his generosity, there are clouds that possess lightnings

From his bounty, and bounty in him is deep-rooted

The dawn of guidance by the Prophet is a sunrise

And in his praise, as long as I live, I am eloquent

He left within us neither perplexity nor ignorance

And indeed, his guidance banished from us misguidance

Within his essence, there is perfection in its origin

He surpassed the creatures in loftiness and majesty

So Muhammad is worthy of the summits of glory

The sun is but beneath him in loftiness

And the full moon is beneath his beauty in appearance

And his radiance left no darkness of innovation

He settled judgment and discourse with a Divine Law

That revealed the countenance of religion while it is radiant

The universe is naught but from the manifestation of his hidden depths

The rising of the sun of his certainty removed all doubts

Thus, all that is in the universe is but some of his affairs

So unto his Divine Law and the firm core of his religion

The deprived and the provided-for bring their disputes

No path in noble deeds is recounted like his path

For there is no step that draws near to his step

No ascender in glory follows in his footsteps

A pride so high that none can reach its extent

Nor can any creature resemble his glory

Through his guidance, there is a showing of the clear Truth

And through his beauty, there is an illumination for all beings

For his station, there is an innocence from all that stains

In him, when the restrained perishes, there is forbearance

Gentle and kind toward all the believers

Noble is his lineage, and he mastered all assemblies

Pure were his fingertips, and pleasant were his drinking-places

Unto the worlds he came as a bearer of glad tidings and a witness

So Allah sent him to us as a father

Pious toward all of mankind, compassionate

He dispelled ambiguity by the light of his truthful speech

And the rulings became manifest through his actions

And the secrets were revealed through his spiritual states

His fingertips overflowed with the truth of his bestowal

So the rain from both his hands is pouring forth

In his love, I have the heart of an enamored lover

Ailing, sorrowful, infatuated, and devoted

Longing from the reflection of a flash of lightning

By his right, a truthful oath toward him

Indeed, I am infatuated with him and full of longing

I have in the beholding of his beauties the greatest aim

For how many a locked door have I opened through them

And his praise is my pride and my treasure on the morrow

So upon the ears, from the praise of Muhammad

Is poetry whose weave is delicate and pleasing

He continues to explain the core of the realities

Wherein he truly mounted their backs through Allah

Peace ordained for him the prayer and established its practice

So upon him we constantly pray, for indeed they

Are the path for the believers unto the Gardens
