Verily, the Trustworthy Muhammad is safeguarded

A light manifest in the horizons of perfection

To him all beings owe their affairs

Who could be like Muhammad, past or future?

By God, not Moses nor Aaron.

A guide who revealed knowledges and landmarks

And bestowed noble traits upon all the generous

And for his sake, the Divinity created the worlds

My praise is for Muhammad, without whom

existence would not exist, nor creation be formed.

For the children of eminence, his loftiness built ranks

And granted them virtues throughout all time

Through him, the Pure One called upon a Bestowing God

With Noah, he was a passenger in the Ark

and through him the laden vessel was saved.

Through him, Joseph was raised from his pit

And Jonah was released from the knots of his distress

And healing came to Job after his long trial

The Friend was spared the fire while he was in his loins

neither a mere accident, nor dark clay, nor altered mud.

In the unseen of old, Taha was submerged

And he appeared, revealing to existence its distinct qualities

Through his remembrance, the enraptured lover passes away in dance

He remained a pure light in the beginning

appearing and manifest upon his forefathers.

How wonderful is his advent, how wonderful!

His breezes gifted a fragrance of glad tidings

He arrived radiant, seeking refuge in God

Moving and being accepted, until

his message drew near and the appointed time arrived.

The whiteness of his loftiness rose above every darkness

And he became, by God’s help, the most excellent in aid

Until the creed of Ahmad became like the sun

Existence was filled with the light of Muhammad’s face

when he came, with the Hanifite path as his religion.

He appeared dignified, bowing his head in humility

Were it not for his gentleness, he would have been a consuming fire

The West rejoiced in him as it became radiant

Cloaked in the light of guidance, shining

majesty and tranquility manifest upon him.

A banner whose urging guided to the paths of bliss

And his breath turned salty water sweet

A sea of generosity whose aid encompassed the worlds

Chosen to be sent in the best of generations

with clear signs, the Quran his companion.

How noble is that luminous Book!

Safeguarded from alteration, worthy of veneration

Its verses preserved, ever-fresh in appearance

Recited by tongues, eternal when it is read

water freezes and rocks soften.

For the beauty of his countenance, he who prostrated drew near

To his father Adam, among the angels of the Eternal

Upon him be the salutations of the Divinity without number

While God had indeed blessed him

his prophethood was established while Adam was yet clay.
