فَزَّازِيَّة
Fazzaziyya
En

(ظ) حرف الظاء

بِمَدِيحِ طَهَ لِلوَرَى إيقَاظُ
bimadīḥi ṭaha lilwarā aīqāẓu
With the praise of Taha, the world awakens,
مِنْ نَوْمِهِمْ وَلَـهُمْ بِهِمْ أَوْعَاظُ
min nawmihim walahum bihim awʿāẓu
From their slumber, and for them are admonitions.
يَا سَعْدُ مَنْ حَلَّاهُ مِنْهُ لَـمَـاظُ
yā saʿdu man ḥallāhu minhu lamāẓu
O joy of one adorned by his grace,
طَرِبَتْ بِمَدْحِ مُحَمَّدٍ الـحُفَّاظُ
وَتَشَرَّفَتْ بِصِفَاتِهِ الأَلفَاظُ
ṭaribat bimadḥi muḥammadinal ḥuffāẓu
watasharrafat biṣifātihil alfāẓu
The guardians are delighted with the praise of Muhammad,
And words are honored by his attributes.
أَلطَافُهُ لِلكَائِنَاتِ هِيَ الغِذَا
alṭāfuhu lilkā’ināti hiyal ghidhā
His kindness is the nourishment for all beings,
وَبِذِكْرِهِ يَنْجُو الـمُحِبُّ مِنَ الأَذَى
wabidhikrihi yanjūl muḥibbu minal adhā
And by his remembrance, the lover is saved from harm.
كَمُلَتْ مَـحَاسِنُ ذَاتِهِ وَسَمَتْ لِذَا
kamulat maḥāsinu dhātihi wasamat lidhā
His beauty's virtues are complete and elevated,
طَمَحَتْ لَوَاحِظُنَا وَلَا عَجَبٌ إِذَا
طَمَحَتْ لِتَنْظُرَ حُسْنَهُ الأَلـحَاظُ
ṭamaḥat lawāḥiẓunā walā ʿajabun idhā
ṭamaḥat litanẓura ḥusnahul alḥāẓu
Our eyes aspire, and no wonder if
They aspire to behold his beauty.
بَرٌّ رَحِيمٌ مُشْفِقٌ مُتَعَطِّفٌ
barrun raḥīmun mushfiqun mutaʿaṭṭifun
Kind, compassionate, merciful, and tender,
سَعْدٌ سَعِيدٌ مُسْعِدٌ وَمُشَرِّفٌ
saʿdun saʿīdun musʿidun wamusharrifun
Joyful, blessed, a source of happiness and honor,
بِاللهِ فِي كُلِّ الوَرَى مُتَصَرِّفٌ
billāhi fī kullil warā mutaṣarrifun
With God, he governs all creation.
طَلقُ الـمُحَيَّا بَاسِمٌ مُتَلَطِّفٌ
مُتَبَاعِدٌ عَنْ طَبْعِهِ الإِغْلاظُ
ṭalqul muḥayyā bāsimun mutalaṭṭifun
mutabāʿidun ʿan ṭabʿihil ighlāẓu
With a radiant face, smiling and gentle,
Distant from harshness by nature.
شَهْمٌ عَظِيمٌ فِي الصُّدُورِ مُـمَجَّدٌ
shahmun ʿaẓīmun fīṣ ṣudūri mumajjadun
A noble, great one, revered in hearts,
فِي كُلِّ مَـجْدٍ مَا عَلَى يَدِهِ يَدٌ
fī kulli majdin mā ʿalā yadihi yadun
In every glory, no hand above his.
شَافٍ لِأَمْرَاضِ القُلُوبِ وَمُنْجِدٍ
shāfin liamrāḍil qulūbi wamunjidin
He heals the diseases of hearts and aids,
طِبٌّ بِأَدْوَاءِ النُّفُوسِ مُؤَيَّدٌ
لَا تَسْتَطِيعُ صِفَاتِهِ البُهَّاظُ
ṭibbun bi adwā’in nufūsi muayyadun
lā tastaṭīʿu ṣifātihil buhhāẓu
A remedy for the ailments of souls, supported,
His qualities cannot be described by the eloquent.
جَـمَعَ النُّهَى وَالفَخْرَ أَحْرَزَ كُلَّهُ
jamaʿan nuhā wal fakhra aḥraza kullahu
He gathered wisdom and claimed all pride,
مَوْلَاهُ فِي نَصِّ الكِتَابِ أَجَلَّهُ
mawlāhu fī naṣṣil kitābi ajallahu
His Lord honored him in the scripture,
وَبِقَابِ قَوْسَيْنِ الرَّفِيعُ أَحَلَّهُ
wabiqābi qawsaynir rafīʿu aḥallahu
And placed him high at the distance of two bows.
طَامي رُوَاقِ الـمَجْدِ مَـحْفُوظٌ لَهُ
فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ كَرِيـهَةٍ إحْفَاظُ
ṭāmī ruwāqil majdi maḥfūẓun lahu
fī kulli yawmin karīhatin aḥfāẓu
The canopy of glory is preserved for him,
In every harsh day, there is protection.
نَسَخَ الشَّرَائِعَ كُلَّهَا مَشْرُوعُهُ
nasakhash sharā’iʿa kullahā mashrūʿuhu
His law abrogated all other laws,
هَزَمَتْ جُـمُوعَ الـمُشْرِكِينَ جُـمُوعُهُ
hazamat jumūʿal mushrikīna jumūʿuhu
His forces defeated the polytheists' forces.
إِنْسَانُ عَيْنِ الـجُودِ بَل يَنْبُوعُهُ
insānu ʿaynil jūdi bal yanbūʿuhu
The essence of generosity, nay, its fountain,
طَابَتْ أَرُومَهُ أحْمَدٍ وَفُرُوعُهُ
فَثَنَا البَرِيَّةَ مَـجْدَهُ البَهَّاظُ
ṭābat arūmahu aḥmadin wafurūʿuhu
fathanal bariyyata majdahul bahhāẓu
The roots and branches of Ahmad are pure,
His glory is praised by the eloquent.
مَدَحَتْهُ آيَاتُ الكِتَابِ وَقَدْ كَفَتْ
madaḥathu āyātul kitābi waqad kafat
The verses of the book praised him, and it sufficed,
وَلِقَدْرِهِ فِي كُلِّ جِيلٍ عَرَّفَتْ
waliqadrihi fī kulli jīlin ʿarrafat
And for his worth, every generation recognized.
رَاقَتْ مَوَارِدُ مَدْحِهِ وَلَنَا صَفَتْ
rāqat mawāridu madḥihi walanā ṣafat
The sources of his praise are pleasing and clear to us,
طَالَتْ بِمَدْحِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَتَشَرَّفَتْ
بِصِفَاتِهِ الـخُطَبَاءُ وَالوُعَّاظُ
ṭālat bimadḥi muḥammadin watasharrafat
biṣifātihil khuṭabā’u wal wuʿʿāẓu
They extended with the praise of Muhammad and were honored,
By his attributes, the orators and preachers.
مِنْ صُحْفِ بَـهْجَتِهِ أَرَى لِي مَنْسَكاً
min ṣuḥfi bahjatihi arā lī mansakan
From the pages of his beauty, I see a path,
يَـهْدِي لِكَعْبَةِ حُسْنِهِ مُتَمَسِّكاً
yahdī likaʿbati ḥusnihi mutamassikan
Guiding to the Kaaba of his beauty, holding fast,
بِـهُدَاهُ فِي شَرْعِ الـهَوَى مُتَهَتِّـكاً
bihudāhu fī sharʿil hawā mutahattikan
By his guidance in the law of desire, unveiled,
طَلَعَتْ نُجُومُ هُدَاهُ فَابْغُوا مَسْلَكاً
فِي نُورِهَا يَا أيُّهَا الأَيْقَاظُ
ṭalaʿat nujūmu hudāhu fab ghū maslakan
fī nūrihā yā ayyuhal ayqāẓu
The stars of his guidance rose, so seek a path
In their light, O awakened ones.
يَا قَلبُ لَا تَـجْزَعْ فَإنَّكَ فِي حَـمَـا
yā qalbu lā tajzaʿ fa annaka fī ḥamā
O heart, do not despair, for you are in the protection
مَنْ شَرُفَتْ بِعُلاهُ آفَاقُ السَّمَـا
man sharufat biʿulāhu āfāqus samā
Of one whose heights the heavens' horizons honored.
وَامْدَحْ عُلَاهُ وَقُل إِذَا خَطْبٌ طَمَـا
wam daḥ ʿulāhu waqul idhā khaṭbun ṭamā
Praise his heights and say when a calamity rises,
طَهَّرْتُ بِالمـَدْحِ البَدِيعِ جَمِيعَ مَا
كَتَبَتْهُ مِنْ آثَامِيَ الحُفَّاظُ
ṭahhartu bil madḥil badīʿi jamīʿa mā
katabathu min āthāmiyal ḥuffāẓu
I purified with the wonderful praise all that
The guardians wrote of my sins.
حُبِّي لَهُ أَضْحَى لَعَمْرِي طَاعَةً
ḥubbī lahu aḍḥā laʿamrī ṭāʿatan
My love for him has become, by my life, obedience,
وَإِذَا دُعِيتُ إِلَى الـحِسَابِ بِضَاعةً
wa idhā duʿītu ilal ḥisābi biḍāʿtan
And if I am called to account, a merchandise
أَرْجُو بِهَا يَوْمَ الـجَزَاءِ شَفَاعَةً
arjū bihā yawmal jazā’i shafāʿatan
I hope for intercession on the Day of Recompense.
طَلَبِي زِيَارَتَهُ وَقُرْبِي سَاعَةً
فَلِنَارِ أَشْوَاقِي إِلَيْهِ شِوَاظُ
ṭalabī ziyāratahu waqurbī sāʿatan
falināri ashwāqī ilayhi shiwāẓu
My request is his visit and my closeness for a moment,
For the fire of my longing for him is a blaze.
