Surpassing the full moons,

They borrow their light from his radiance.

I yearn to visit him;

In his presence, tears flow

To behold you, O Prophet ﷺ,

Is a blissful joy,

With its fragrant breeze,

Whether in sleep or in a vision.

I came to the sacred precincts,

Standing at his door;

At the gathering-place of the beloved ones,

I laid down my traveling gear

A lion amid the blaze,

Ḥaydar, the Ever-Charging One

How often he struck forth with the sword,

How often he made the mountains tremble!

My hope and my acceptance are

Through al-Zahrāʾ, the Chaste One.

O daughter of the Messenger ﷺ,

Bring my hopes to fulfillment

By Zaynab, the guiding one,

And Nafīsa, the great one,

And ʿĀʾisha, the radiant one,

You are the best of families

Indeed, we made our intention;

Unto him we have come.

O Grandfather of al-Ḥasan and al-Ḥusayn,

Our longing has grown long

We have presented our gift

To the pure Prophetic Household:

Blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ

He is resplendent in beauty
