رَبِّي خَلَقْ طَه مِنْ نُورْ
My Lord Created Taha from Light
En
رَبِّي خَلَقْ طَه مِنْ نُورْ فِيهْ اِحْتِرَامْ
نَادَاهُ أَقْبِلْ يَامُخْتَارْ أَنْتَ اْلأَمِينْ
rabbī khalaq ṭah min nūr fīh iḥtirām
nādāhu aqbil yāmukhtār anta lamīn
My Lord created Taha from light, endowed with honor,
He called to him, “Come forth, O Chosen One, you are the Trustworthy.”
لَمَّاارْتَقَى الْبَيْتَ الْمَعْمُورْ صَلّى إِمَامْ
وَقَدْ دَنَا مِنْ رَبِّهِ الْبَاهِي الْجَلِيلْ
lammar taqal baytal maʿmūr ṣallā imām
waqad danā min rabbihil bāhīl jalīl
When he ascended to al-Bayt al-Maʿmur, he led the prayer as Imam,
And he drew near to his Lord, the Glorious and Majestic
إِنْ رُمْتَ أَنْ تَحْظى بِالْحُورْ يَوْمَ الْزِّحَامْ
صَلِّى عَلَى بَاهِي اْلأَنْوَارْ عَيْنِ الْيَقِينْ
in rumta an taḥẓā bil ḥūr yawmal zziḥām
ṣalliā ʿalā bāhī lanwar ʿaynil yaqīn
If you desire to attain the maidens of Paradise on the Day of Judgement,
Then send blessings upon the Radiance of Lights, the eye of certainty
