Who is like Ahmad?
En
Allah Allahu Allah Allahu
Allah Allahu tabāraka Allahu
Allah Allah, Allah Allah
Allah Allah, blessed is Allah!
man mithlu aḥmada fīl kawnayni nahwāhu
badrun jamīʿul warā fī ḥusnihi tāhū
Who is like Ahmad in the two abodes?
The full moon, all of creation is lost and overwhelmed by his beauty
man mithluhu wa ilahul ʿarshi sharrafahu
bil khalqi wal khulqi inna Allaha aʿṭāhu
Who is like him? The Lord of the mighty throne has honoured him
In character and creation, indeed, God has granted him.
wash shamsu takhjalu min anwāri ṭalʿatihi
ḥārat ʿuqūlul warā fī fahmi maʿnāhu
And the sun blushes from the lights of his rise.
People's minds blaze while depicting his essence.
tabāraka Allahu mā aḥlā shamā’ilahu
ḥāzal jamāla famā abhā muḥayyāhu
Blessed is God, how sweet are his characteristics,
He possessed beauty, how bright his visage.
yā ʿurba wādīn naqā yā ahla kāẓimatin
fī ḥayyikum qamarun fīl qalbi mathwāhu
O Arabs of Wadi al-Nuqa, O people of Kadhima,
In your neighborhood, a moon resides as the abode in the heart.
ṣallā ʿalayhi ilahul ʿarshi mā ṭalaʿat
shamsun wa mā ḥadḥadal ḥādī maṭāyāhu
Peace be upon him, God of the Throne, as the sun has risen,
No sun nor guide has matched his paths
Allahu bil madḥi lilmukhtāri manna ʿalayy
ʿasā yurā liya baynal mādiḥiyna ḥalaī
Allah has gifted us with the praise of the chosen one,
Perhaps I’ll be seen among those who praise his name
idhā ataytu liaqraṣ ṣuḥfa min ʿamaliy
mālī siwā man lahu faḍlun yushiyru ilā
When I come to read the record of my deeds
None do I have but He of bounty, who directs His grace to me
muḥammadun sayyidul kawnayni wath thaqalayni
wal farīqayni min ʿurbin wamin ʿajami
Muhammad is the master of the two worlds, master of the jinn and men,
And master of the two groups, Arabs and non-Arabs
huwal ḥabībudh dhī turjā shafāʿatuhu
likulli hawlin minal ahwāli muqtaḥami
He is the beloved one, whose intercession is hoped for
Against all the terrifying things that take us by storm
Our Prophet, who commands the good and forbids the wrong,
There is no one truer to his word, whether it be ‘yes’ or ‘no’
kaz zahri fī tarafin wal badri fī sharafin
wal baḥri fī karamin wad dahri fī himami
Like a flower in freshness and a full moon in eminence,
Like an ocean in pure generosity and like Time itself In strength of resolution
yiā rabbi bil muṣṭafā balligh maqāṣidanā
wagh fir lanā mā maḍā yā wāsiʿal karami
O my Lord, by the Chosen One, let us attain all that we are hoping for,
And pardon us for what has passed, O Boundlessly Generous One
wagh fir ilahī likulil muslimīna bimā
yatlūna fīl masjidil aqṣā wafīl ḥarami
And, O God, forgive all the Muslims their wrong actions,
By that which they recite in the Masjid al-Aqsa, As well as in the Ancient Sanctuary
bijāhi man baytuhu fī ṭaybatin ḥaramun
wa asmuhu qasamun min aʿẓamil qasami
By the rank of the one whose dwelling is a sanctuary in Tayba
And whose very name is one of the greatest of oaths
