رَسُولَ إِلَهِ الْعَالَمِينَ تَعَالَى
The Messenger of the Lord of the Worlds, the Most High

رَسُولَ إِلَــهِ الْعَالَمِيـــــنَ تَعَالَـى
خَدِيمُكَ نَادَى يَا رَسُولُ تَعَـــالاَ
rasūla ilahil ʿālamīna taʿālā
khadīmuka nādā yā rasūlu taʿaāla
O Messenger of the Lord of the Worlds, Most High,
your servant has called out: O Messenger, draw near!
خَدِيمُكَ نَادَى يَا رَسُولُ فَلاَ أُرَى
فَقِيرًا إِلَى غَيْــرِ الْإِلَـــهِ تَعَالَــى
khadīmuka nādā yā rasūlu fala urā
faqīran ilā ghayril ilahi taʿālā
Your servant has called out, O Messenger, so let me not be seen
as destitute or in need of any save for Allah, Exalted is He
خَدِيمٌ بِأَقْصَى الْغَرْبِ يَدْعُو مُحَمَّــدًا
وَلَيْسَ يَرَى غَيْرَ الْرَّسُـــولِ ثِمَـالاَ
khadīmun bi aqṣal gharbi yadʿū muḥammadan
walaysa yarā ghayral rrasūli thimaāla
A servant in the farthest West calls to Muhammad,
seeing none but the Messenger as his refuge
خَدِيمٌ ثَـوَى بِالْبَابِ وَهْــــوَ مُؤَمِّــلٌ
إِيَابًا كَرِيمًــــا وَهْـوَ جَيْــرِ أَطَــالاَ
khadīmun thawā bil bābi wahwa muammilun
iyāban karīman wahwa jayri aṭaāla
A servant who has lingered at the door, full of hope
for a noble reception, though his wait has been long
تَصَاغَرَ عِنْدِي غَيْرُ أَحْمَــدَ إِنَّنِــي
أُرَجِّي مِنَ الْهَــادِي الْعِبَــادِ مَنَـالاَ
taṣāghara ʿindī ghayru aḥmada innanī
urajjī minal hādīl ʿibādi manaāla
All but Ahmad have grown small in my eyes, for truly,
i hope for a great blessing from the Guide of all servants
كَرِيمَ الْسَّجَايَا وَاسِعَ الْجُودِ مَا تَرَى
لِضَيْـــــفِ كَرِيــمٍ قَــدْ أَجَادَ مَقَــالاَ
karīmal ssajāyā wāsiʿal jūdi mā tarā
liḍayfi karīmin qad ajāda maqaāla
O you of noble character and vast generosity, what do you see
for the guest of a Gracious One, who has spoken his plea so well
فَهَبْهُ عَلَى مِقْدَارِ كَفِّــكَ مُصْطَفَى الْ
بَرَايَــا عَطَاءً لاَ يَخَــافُ زَوَالاَ
fahabhu ʿalā miqdāri kaffika muṣṭafal
barāyā ʿaṭā’an la yakhāfu zawal a
Grant him, by the measure of your generous hand,
O Chosen One of creation, A gift that fears no end
فَفِي كُلِّ حَيٍّ قَدْ خَبَطْتَ بِنِعْمَــةٍ
وَإِنِّي كَشأْسٍ قَــدْ أَرُومُ نَــوَالاَ
fafī kulli ḥayyin qad khabaṭta biniʿmatin
wa innī kash’sin qad arūmu nawal a
For in every living being, you have bestowed a blessing,
and I, like a humble seeker, aspire for your bounty
عَلَيْكَ صَـــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ
وَتَشْمَلُ أَصْحَابَ الْنَّبِـــيِّ وَآلاَ
ʿalayka ṣalatu Allahi thumma salamuhu
watashmalu aṣḥābal nnabiyyi wa āla
Upon you be the prayers of God and His peace,
extending to the Prophet’s Companions and his Family
