قَدْ أَشْرَقَ الْبَدْرُ الْمُنِيرْ
بِمَوْلِدِ الْهَـادِي الْبَشِيـرْ
qad ashraqal badrul munīr
bimawlidil hādīl bashīr
The illuminating full moon has risen,
The Mawlid of the Guide, the Bringer of Glad Tidings
أَهْلاً وَسَهْلاً بِالْإِمَامْ
الْمُصْطَفَى بَـدْرِ الْتَّمَـامْ
ahlan wasahlan bil imām
almuṣṭafā badril ttamām
Welcome, welcome to the Imam,
The Chosen One, the perfect full moon
شَفِيعِنَا يَوْمَ الْزِّحَـامْ
أَرْسَلَـهُ الْـرَّبُّ الْقَدِيـرْ
shafīʿinā yawmal zziḥām
arsalahul rrabbul qadīr
Our intercessor on the Day of Crowding,
Sent by the Almighty Lord
قَدْ أَشْرَقَ الْبَدْرُ الْمُنِيرْ
بِمَوْلِدِ الْهَـادِي الْبَشِيـرْ
qad ashraqal badrul munīr
bimawlidil hādīl bashīr
The illuminating full moon has risen,
The Mawlid of the Guide, the Bringer of Glad Tidings
بُشْرَى لَنَا نِلْنَا الْمَرَامْ
بِطَـهَ مُعْتَلِـى الْمَقَـامْ
bushrā lanā nilnal marām
biṭaha muʿtalial maqām
Glad tidings to us, we have attained our desire,
Through Taha, of the exalted station
شَرَّفَـهُ رَبُّ الْأَنَـامْ
فَلَـمْ يَكُـنْ لَـهُ نَظِيـرْ
sharrafahu rabbul anām
falam yakun lahu naẓīr
The Lord of all mankind has honored him,
For he has no equal
قَدْ أَشْرَقَ الْبَدْرُ الْمُنِيرْ
بِمَوْلِدِ الْهَـادِي الْبَشِيـرْ
qad ashraqal badrul munīr
bimawlidil hādīl bashīr
The illuminating full moon has risen,
The Mawlid of the Guide, the Bringer of Glad Tidings
يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ يَا مُجِيبْ
عَبْدٌ دَعَـاك لَا يَخِيـبْ
yā dhal jalāli yā mujīb
ʿabdun daʿāk lā yakhīb
O Possessor of Majesty, O Answerer of Prayers,
A servant who calls upon You will never be disappointed
بِحُرْمَةِ الْنَّبِيِّ الْحَبِيبْ
يَسِّرْ لَنَا الْأَمْـرَ الْعَسِيـرْ
biḥurmatil nnabiyyil ḥabīb
yassir lanal amral ʿasīr
By the honor of the beloved Prophet,
Make easy for us every difficult matter
قَدْ أَشْرَقَ الْبَدْرُ الْمُنِيرْ
بِمَوْلِدِ الْهَـادِي الْبَشِيـرْ
qad ashraqal badrul munīr
bimawlidil hādīl bashīr
The illuminating full moon has risen,
The Mawlid of the Guide, the Bringer of Glad Tidings
أَدْعُوكَ يَا رَبَّ الْأَنَامْ
أَمِتْنَا عَلَى حُسْنِ الْخِتَـامْ
adʿūka yā rabbal anām
amitnā ʿalā ḥusnil khitām
I call upon You, O Lord of mankind,
Grant us a good and righteous end
وَأَسْكِنَـا فِي دَارَ الْسَّلَامْ
لِبَاسُنَـا فِيهَـا حَرِيرْ
wa askinā fī dāral ssalām
libāsunā fīhā ḥarīr
And settle us in the Abode of Peace,
Our garments therein will be of silk
قَدْ أَشْرَقَ الْبَدْرُ الْمُنِيرْ
بِمَوْلِدِ الْهَـادِي الْبَشِيـرْ
qad ashraqal badrul munīr
bimawlidil hādīl bashīr
The illuminating full moon has risen,
The Mawlid of the Guide, the Bringer of Glad Tidings
أَجِبْ دُعَانَا يَا أَحَدْ
وَاسْمَعْ نِدَانَا يَا صَمَدْ
ajib duʿānā yā aḥad
was maʿ nidānā yā ṣamad
Answer our prayer, O The One,
And hear our call, O The Eternal Refuge
يَا دَائِماً عَلَى الْأَبَـدْ
أَنْـتَ الْمُهَيْمِـنُ الْخَبِيـرْ
yā dā’iman ʿalal abad
antal muhayminul khabīr
O You who are everlasting for all eternity,
You are the Overseer, the All-Aware
قَدْ أَشْرَقَ الْبَدْرُ الْمُنِيرْ
بِمَوْلِدِ الْهَـادِي الْبَشِيـرْ
qad ashraqal badrul munīr
bimawlidil hādīl bashīr
The illuminating full moon has risen,
The Mawlid of the Guide, the Bringer of Glad Tidings
أَهْدِي الْتَّحِيَّةْ وَالْسَّلَامْ
لِلْمُجْتَبَـى خَيْرِ الْأَنَـامْ
ahdīl ttaḥiyyah wal ssalām
lilmujtabā khayril anām
I dedicate greetings and peace,
To the Chosen One, the best of mankind
والْآلِ وَالْصَّحْبِ الْكِرَامْ
مَا أَمْطَرَ الْمَطْرُ الْغَزِيرْ
l āli wal ṣṣaḥbil kirām
mā amṭaral maṭrul ghazīr
And to his noble family and companions,
For as long as the abundant rain falls
