لَمْ يَخْلُقِ الرَّحْمَنُ مِثْلَ مُحَمَّدٍ
The Most Merciful Has Never Created the Like of Muhammad

لَمْ يَخْلُقِ الرَّحْمَنُ مِثْلَ مُحَمَّدٍ
بَيْنَ الْوَرَى بَشَراً عَلَى الْإِطْلَاقِ
lam yakhluqir raḥmanu mithla muḥammadin
baynal warā basharan ʿalal iṭlāqi
The Most Merciful has never created the like of Muhammad
Among all creation, no human whatsoever
كَلَّا وَلَا عَرَفَ الْخَلَائِقُ قَدْرَهُ
مَا فَوْقَهُ حَقّاً سِوَى الْخَلَّاقِ
kallā walā ʿarafal khalā’iqu qadrahu
mā fawqahu ḥaqqan siwal khallāqi
No indeed, creation has never grasped his true rank;
Truly none is above Him except the Creator
مَاذَا أَقُولُ بِوَصْفِهِ وَمَدِيحِهِ
وَسَنَاهُ دَوْماً بَاهِرُ الْإِشْرَاقِ
mādhā aqūlu biwaṣfihi wamadīḥihi
wasanāhu dawman bāhirul ishrāqi
What can I possibly say in describing him and praising him?
His radiant splendor forever dazzles with brilliance
وَهُوَ الَّذِي لِلْخَلْقِ أُرْسِلَ رَحْمَةً
وَأَتَى يُتَمِّمُ مَكَارِمَ الْأَخْلَاقِ
wahuwal ladhī lilkhalqi ursila raḥmatan
wa atā yutammimu makārimal akhlāqi
He is the one sent as mercy to all creation,
And came to perfect the noblest of character
