raḍīnā īā banīz zahrā raḍīnā
biḥubbin fīkumū yurḍī nabīnā
We are pleased, O children of Al-Zahra, we are pleased
with a love for you that pleases our Prophet
rḍīnā bālnbyyi lnā amāman
wāntum āluhu wbikum raḍīnā
We are pleased with the Prophet as our leader
and you are his family, and with you we are pleased
wbālssibṭil ḥusayni kadhā akhūhu
waḥaydaru thumma zaynul ʿābidīnā
And with the grandson Al-Hussein, as well as his brother
and Haydar, then Zayn Al-Abidin
wazaynabu man lhā faḍlun samiyyun
sulalatu aḥmadin fīṭ ṭayyibīnā
And Zaynab, who possesses an exalted virtue
the lineage of Ahmad among the pure ones
lhā nūrun yuḍī’u kamithli shamsin
mnil mukhtāri nashhaduhu mubīnā
She has a light that shines like a sun
from the Chosen One, which we witness clearly
lhā jūdun lhā karamun wʿaṭfun
ḥawat faḍlan yurā llmunṣifīnā
She has generosity, she has nobility and compassion
she encompassed a virtue visible to the fair-minded
āmīral m’mnīn abūki ḥaqqan
ʿaliyyun sāda jayshal ʿārifīnā
The Commander of the Faithful is truly your father
Ali, who led the army of the knowers of God
wummuki baḍʿatul mukhtāri ṭaha
muḥabbabatun alal hādī nbīnā
And your mother is a part of the Chosen One, Taha
beloved to the Guide, our Prophet
wkānal muṣṭafā yaḥnū ʿalayhā
ḥunuwwa mawaddatin ʿaṭfan walīnā
And the Chosen One used to show her affection
an affection of love, compassion, and gentleness
wjā’an ḥadīthuhu yutlā jihāran
laqad sādat nisā’al ʿālamīnā
And his tradition came to be recited aloud
she has indeed become the master of the women of the worlds
ādhash taqnā alā khayril barāyā
ataynākum mushātan rākibīnā
When we long for the best of creation
we come to you, walking and riding
fāntm mnh bālāsrār ji’tum
waji’nākum fashāhadnal amīnā
For you came from him bearing secrets
and we came to you, and thus witnessed the Trustworthy One
wshāhadnā ldīkm kulla khayrin
wshāhadnā ulūfan zā’rīnā
And we witnessed every good in your presence
and we witnessed thousands of visitors
bākhlaṣin wtwḥīd wdīnin
atawkum sādatī mutabarrikīnā
With sincerity, monotheism, and religion
they came to you, my masters, seeking blessings
tudhakkiruhum mashāhidukum jinānan
birawḍati jaddikum lilwafidīnā
Your sanctuaries remind them of gardens
at the garden of your grandfather for the arriving guests
farawḥun minhu wālrrayḥānu īātī
lizuwwārin atawkum mukhliṣīnā
So comfort and sweet fragrance come from him
to visitors who came to you sincerely
fāntm minhu wāldhdhikrā ladaykum
bru’yākum turā llmu’minīnā
For you are from him, and the remembrance is with you
by seeing you, it becomes visible to the believers
fabābul ʿilmu wāldukum ʿaliyyun
lh sayfun abādal kāfirīnā
For the gate of knowledge is your father Ali
who has a sword that annihilated the disbelievers
famin damʿin lārḍin qd rawaynā
minal ashwāqi naḥwal akramīnā
So with tears we have watered the earth
out of longing for the most noble ones
