No one has ever extended a hand to the Best of Creation,

Except that, through him, they attained true felicity

And so, I have extended my hand toward him,

And by doing so, I have become one of the fortunate

The gateway to Allah, exalted and high in rank,

Exalted in honor and distinguished by every form of greatness

Through his call, all have connected to Allah,

And through him, they have attained divine support

Truly, in times of hardship and in times of ease,

I seek refuge in his protection for the rest of my life

I cry out: "Succor me, O my treasure!

And grant me the dew of generosity from your hands."

Show me compassion, O my hope,

By healing my heart from its spiritual ailments

How could your lover remain in fear?

For by your high standing, I fear no one

I seek none other than you, should my fate turn harsh,

And should I find myself without any helpers

By the sanctity of your life, cast a glance [of mercy] upon me,

Out of generosity, O best of all who have prostrated

You are the Chosen One from eternity,

O best of intercessors among all nations

By your light, emerging after non-existence,

The face of all existence began to shine and appear

May the prayers of Allah, without limit,

Be gifted to you, O you of lofty station

And upon your family and your noble companions,

As long as the camel-driver sings through the night
