الصُّبْحُ بَدَا مِنْ طَلْعَتِهِ
The Light of Dawn is From His Radiance ﷺ

الــصُّــبْــحُ بَــدَا مِــنْ طَــلْــعَــتِــهِ
وَ الــلَّــيْــلُ دَجَــى مِــنْ وَفْــرَتِــهِ
aṣ ṣubḥu badā min ṭalʿatihi
wal laylu dajā min wafratihi
The light of dawn is from the radiance of his face ﷺ
The sparkle of the night is from the glimmer of his blessed strands of hair ﷺ
كَــنْــزُ الــكَــرَمِ مَــوْلَا الــنِّــعَــمِ
هَــادِي الأُمَــمِ لِــشَــرِيــعَــتِــهِ
kanzul karami mawlan niʿami
hādīl umami lisharīʿatihi
Our master is a treasure of grace. He is a treasure of mercy ﷺ
He is the guide of the entire nation, showing us the way of the sacred law ﷺ
سَــاعَــةِ الــشَّــجَــرُ نَــطَــقَ الــحَــجَــرُ
شَــقَّ الــقَــمَــرُ بِــإِشَــارَتِــهِ
sāʿatish shajaru naṭaqal ḥajaru
shaqqal qamaru bi ishāratihi
The trees began to walk, the stones began to speak,
And the moon was split into two, upon gesture of his blessed finger ﷺ
جِــبْــرِيــلُ أَتَــى لَــيْــلَــةَ أَسْــرَى
وَ الــرَّبُّ دَعَــاهُ لِــحَــضْــرَتِــهِ
jibrīlu atā laylata asrā
war rabbu daʿāhu liḥaḍratihi
Angel Gabriel came with glad tidings from Allah on the night he ascended ﷺ
For Allah invited him ﷺ to His magnificent presence
نالَ الشَّرَفَا وَاللهُ عَفَا
عَمَّا سَلَفَا مِنْ أُمَّتِهِ
l lash sharafā wa Allahu ʿafā
ʿammā salafā min ummatihi
He attained supreme honor, and through him ﷺ, Allah graciously forgave
the previous shortcomings of his nation ﷺ
فَــمُــحَــمَّــدُنَــا هُــوَ سَــيِّــدِنَــا
فَــالْــعِــزُّ لَــنَــا لِإِجَــابَــتِــهِ
famuḥammadunā huwa sayyidinā
fal ʿizzu lanā liijābatihi
Muhammad is our master,
and our honor lies in answering his call
