يَا رَبِّ بِهِمْ وَبِجَدِّهِمِ عَجِّلْ بِالْنَّصْرِ وَبِالْفَرَجِ
O Lord, by Them and Their Forefather, Hasten Our Victory and Divine Relief

يَا رَبِّ بِهِمْ وَبِجَدِّهِمِ
عَجِّلْ بِالْنَّصْرِ وَبِالْفَرَجِ
yā rabbi bihim wabijaddihimi
ʿajjil bil nnaṣri wabil faraji
O Lord, by them and by their Grandfather,
hasten our victory and divine relief
عَجِّلْ بِالْسَّعْيِ لِنَحْوِهِمِ
تَلْقَ الْرِّضْوَانَ وَتَبْتَهِجِ
ʿajjil bil ssaʿyi linaḥwihimi
talqal rriḍwāna watabtahiji
Hasten your strides towards them,
you shall find divine pleasure and rejoice
هُمْ أَهْلُ الْبَيْتِ أَئِمَّتُنَا
فِي الْخُلْدِ لَهُمْ أَعْلَى الْدَّرَجِ
hum ahlul bayti a’immatunā
fīl khuldi lahum aʿlal ddaraji
They are the Prophet's family, our leaders,
in Eternity, they hold the highest ranks
يَا رَبِّ بِهِمْ وَبِجَدِّهِمِ
عَجِّلْ بِالْنَّصْرِ وَبِالْفَرَجِ
yā rabbi bihim wabijaddihimi
ʿajjil bil nnaṣri wabil faraji
O Lord, by them and by their Grandfather,
hasten our victory and divine relief
سَلِّمْ تَسْلَمْ وَانْظُرْ عَجَبًا
تِلْكَ الْأَنْوَارُ مِنَ الْفَرَجِ
sallim taslam wan ẓur ʿajaban
tilkal anwāru minal faraji
Send peace and be safe, and behold a wonder:
those are the lights of deliverance
وَاشْرَبْ وَاطْرَبْ وَانْشَقْ عَطِرًا
قَدْ فَاقَ شَذَاهُ عَلَى الْأَرَجِ
wash rab waṭ rab wan shaq ʿaṭiran
qad fāqa shadhāhu ʿalal araji
Drink, be enraptured, and inhale a fragrance,
whose scent surpasses all perfumes
يَا رَبِّ بِهِمْ وَبِجَدِّهِمِ
عَجِّلْ بِالْنَّصْرِ وَبِالْفَرَجِ
yā rabbi bihim wabijaddihimi
ʿajjil bil nnaṣri wabil faraji
O Lord, by them and by their Grandfather,
hasten our victory and divine relief
قَوْمٌ سَادُوا فِي الْخُلْدِ عَلَى
أَهْلِ الْجَنَّاتِ أُولِي الْسُّرُجِ
qawmun sādū fīl khuldi ʿalā
ahlil jannāti ūlīl ssuruji
A people who reign in Eternity over,
The dwellers of Paradise, the bearers of light
وَلَهُمْ جَاهٌ وَبِجَدِّهِمُ
يَنْجُو مَنْ زَارَ فَذَاكَ نُجِي
walahum jāhun wabijaddihimu
yanjū man zāra fadhāka nujī
They possess high status, and by their Grandfather,
whoever visits them is saved, truly rescued!
يَا رَبِّ بِهِمْ وَبِجَدِّهِمِ
عَجِّلْ بِالْنَّصْرِ وَبِالْفَرَجِ
yā rabbi bihim wabijaddihimi
ʿajjil bil nnaṣri wabil faraji
O Lord, by them and by their Grandfather,
hasten our victory and divine relief
أَبْشِرْ إِنْ جِئْتَ لِدَارِهِمُ
قَدْ فُزْتَ سَرِيعًا بِالْفَرَجِ
abshir in ji’ta lidārihimu
qad fuzta sarīʿan bil faraji
Rejoice if you come to their abode,
for you have swiftly attained the relief
سَادُوا الْأَقْطَابَ لَهُمْ شَرَفٌ
يُضْوِي كَالْشَّمْسِ لَدَى الْمُهَجِ
sādūl aqṭāba lahum sharafun
yuḍwī kal shshamsi ladal muhaji
They surpassed the spiritual poles; they have nobility,
that shines like the sun within the souls
يَا رَبِّ بِهِمْ وَبِجَدِّهِمِ
عَجِّلْ بِالْنَّصْرِ وَبِالْفَرَجِ
yā rabbi bihim wabijaddihimi
ʿajjil bil nnaṣri wabil faraji
O Lord, by them and by their Grandfather,
hasten our victory and divine relief
اِذْهَبْ بِالْلَّيْلِ لِرَوْضَتِهِمْ
أَقْدِمْ أَسْرِعْ بِالْحُبِّ وَجِي
idhhab bil llayli lirawḍatihim
aqdim asriʿ bil ḥubbi wajī
Go by night to their sanctuary,
step forward, hasten with love, and come!
أَخْلِصْ لِلهِ بِزَوْرَتِهِمْ
أَخْلِصْ فِي الْسَّيْرِ بِلَا عِوَجِ
akhliṣ lillāhi bizawratihim
akhliṣ fīl ssayri bilā ʿiwaji
Be sincere to Allah in your visit to them,
be sincere in your journey, without deviation
يَا رَبِّ بِهِمْ وَبِجَدِّهِمِ
عَجِّلْ بِالْنَّصْرِ وَبِالْفَرَجِ
yā rabbi bihim wabijaddihimi
ʿajjil bil nnaṣri wabil faraji
O Lord, by them and by their Grandfather,
hasten our victory and divine relief
رَاقِبْ لِلْنَّفْسِ وَشَهْوَتِهَا
إِيَّاكَ تُصَاحِبُ لِلْهَمَجِ
rāqib lilnnafsi washahwatihā
iyyāka tuṣāḥibu lilhamaji
Keep watch over your soul and its desires,
and beware of befriending the foolish
اِعْرِفْ قَدْرَ الْأَحْبَابِ وَكُنْ
عِنْدَ الْأَحْبَابِ أُولِي الْدَّرَجِ
iʿrif qadral aḥbābi wakun
ʿindal aḥbābi ūlīl ddaraji
Know the worth of the beloved ones and be,
with the beloved ones of high degrees
يَا رَبِّ بِهِمْ وَبِجَدِّهِمِ
عَجِّلْ بِالْنَّصْرِ وَبِالْفَرَجِ
yā rabbi bihim wabijaddihimi
ʿajjil bil nnaṣri wabil faraji
O Lord, by them and by their Grandfather,
hasten our victory and divine relief
وَاسْمَعْ مِنْهُمْ مَا تَسْمَعُهُ
إِنْ كُنْتَ سَمِيعًا وَابْتَهِجِ
was maʿ minhum mā tasmaʿuhu
in kunta samīʿan wab tahiji
And listen to what you hear from them,
if you are truly attentive, and rejoice
فَهُنَاكَ لِرُوحِكَ أَسْرَارٌ
تَخْفَى الْأَسْرَارُ عَلَى السَّمِجِ
fahunāka lirūḥika asrārun
takhfal asrāru ʿalas samiji
For there, your soul shall find secrets,
secrets hidden from unrefined
يَا رَبِّ بِهِمْ وَبِجَدِّهِمِ
عَجِّلْ بِالْنَّصْرِ وَبِالْفَرَجِ
yā rabbi bihim wabijaddihimi
ʿajjil bil nnaṣri wabil faraji
O Lord, by them and by their Grandfather,
hasten our victory and divine relief
وَلِأَهْلِ الْحُبِّ مُعَتَّقَةً
كَأْسُ الْأَسْرَارِ بِلَا وَهَجِ
waliahlil ḥubbi muʿattaqatan
ka sul asrāri bilā wahaji
And for the folk of love is an aged vintage,
the cup of secrets without burning heat
فَاشْرَبْ مَا دُمْتَ مُحِبَّهُمُ
كَأْسًا تَنْهَاكَ عَنِ الْعِوَجِ
fash rab mā dumta muḥibbahumu
ka san tanhāka ʿanil ʿiwaji
So drink, as long as you love them,
a cup that restrains you from deviance
يَا رَبِّ بِهِمْ وَبِجَدِّهِمِ
عَجِّلْ بِالْنَّصْرِ وَبِالْفَرَجِ
yā rabbi bihim wabijaddihimi
ʿajjil bil nnaṣri wabil faraji
O Lord, by them and by their Grandfather,
hasten our victory and divine relief
لا تَسْمَعْ قَوْلَ مُكَدِّرِهَا
أَعْدَى الأَعْدَاءِ الْمُعْتَلِجِ
lā tasmaʿ qawla mukaddirihā
aʿdal aʿdā’il muʿtaliji
Do not listen to the one who muddies this love,
the most hostile of enemies, full of turmoil
وَاسْمَعْ أَقْوَالَ مُحِبِّهِمِ
كَالْشَّهْدِ بِهِ أَقْوَى الْحُجَجِ
was maʿ aqwāla muḥibbihimi
kal shshahdi bihi aqwal ḥujaji
And listen to the words of their lover,
sweet as honey, holding the strongest proofs
يَا رَبِّ بِهِمْ وَبِجَدِّهِمِ
عَجِّلْ بِالْنَّصْرِ وَبِالْفَرَجِ
yā rabbi bihim wabijaddihimi
ʿajjil bil nnaṣri wabil faraji
O Lord, by them and by their Grandfather,
hasten our victory and divine relief
وَدَعِ الْإِنْكَارَ لِمُنْكِرِهِ
عَبْدٌ مَحْرُومٌ فِي لُجَجِ
wadaʿil inkāra limunkirihi
ʿabdun maḥrūmun fī lujaji
Leave denial to the denier,
a deprived servant drowning in the depths of confusion
لَوْ شَاهَدَ نُورَ أَحِبَّتِنَا
مَا أَنْكَرَ إِنْكَارَ الْلَّجَجِ
law shāhada nūra aḥibbatinā
mā ankara inkāral llajaji
Had he witnessed the light of our beloveds,
he would not have denied with such stubbornness
يَا رَبِّ بِهِمْ وَبِجَدِّهِمِ
عَجِّلْ بِالْنَّصْرِ وَبِالْفَرَجِ
yā rabbi bihim wabijaddihimi
ʿajjil bil nnaṣri wabil faraji
O Lord, by them and by their Grandfather,
hasten our victory and divine relief
مَا قَالَ مَقَالَةَ ذِي جَهْلٍ
مَا قَالَ مَقَالَةَ ذِي عِوَجٍ
mā qāla maqālata dhī jahlin
mā qāla maqālata dhī ʿiwajin
He would not have spoken the words of the ignorant,
he would not have spoken the words of the crooked
وَصَلَاةُ اللهِ تَحِيَّتُهُ
لِلْهَادِي الْنَّاسَ إِلَى الْنَّهَجِ
waṣalātu Allahi taḥiyyatuhu
lilhādīl nnāsa ilal nnahaji
May the blessings and greetings of Allah,
be upon the one who guides people to the straight path
يَا رَبِّ بِهِمْ وَبِجَدِّهِمِ
عَجِّلْ بِالْنَّصْرِ وَبِالْفَرَجِ
yā rabbi bihim wabijaddihimi
ʿajjil bil nnaṣri wabil faraji
O Lord, by them and by their Grandfather,
hasten our victory and divine relief
وَالْآلِ جَمِيعًا سَادَتِنَا
أَهْلِ الْتَّوْفِيقِ إِلَى الْبَلَجِ
wal āli jamīʿan sādatinā
ahlil ttawfīqi ilal balaji
And upon all his Family, our masters,
The people of grace, leading to the bright dawn
مَا (صَالِحُ) يَتْلُو أَمْدَاحًا
تَضْوِي لَيْلًا مِثْلَ الْسُّرُجِ
mā ṣāliḥu yatlū amdāḥan
taḍwī laylan mithlal ssuruji
As long as Salih recites these praises,
illuminating the night like glowing lamps
