حَيُّوا الْهَادِي بِأَجْمَلَ ذِكْرَى
Greet the Guide with the Most Beautiful Remembrance
En
حَيُّوا الْهَادِي بِأَجْمَلَ ذِكْرَى
صَلُّوا مَعَنَا يَا حُضَّارْ
ḥayyūl hādī bi ajmala dhikrā
ṣallū maʿanā yā ḥuḍḍār
Greet the Guide with the most beautiful remembrance,
Send blessings with us, O all who are present
فَهُوَ عِمَادِي يَوْمَ الْمَعَادِ
نَبِيُّنَا طٰهَ الْمُخْتَارْ
fahuwa ʿimādī yawmal maʿādi
nabiyyunā ṭāhal mukhtār
For he is my support on the Day of Resurrection,
Our Prophet Taha, the Chosen One
صَلُّوا مَعَنَا
ṣallū maʿanā
Send blessings with us
هٰذَا الَّذِي سَرَى لَيْلًا
ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلَّى
hādhal ladhī sarā laylan
thumma danā fatadallā
He who journeyed one night,
Then drew near and came closer,
وَهُوَ بِالْأُفُقِ الْأَعْلَى
حَبَاهُ الْوَاحِدُ الْسَّتَّارْ
wahuwa bil ufuqil aʿlā
ḥabāhul wāḥidul ssattār
While he was upon the highest horizon,
The One, the Concealer, bestowed His favors upon him
فَهُوَ عِمَادِي يَوْمَ الْمَعَادِ
نَبِيُّنَا طٰهَ الْمُخْتَارْ
fahuwa ʿimādī yawmal maʿādi
nabiyyunā ṭāhal mukhtār
For he is my support on the Day of Resurrection,
Our Prophet Taha, the Chosen One
صَلُّوا مَعَنَا
ṣallū maʿanā
Send blessings with us
عَلَى الْعَرْشِ رَقَى الْجَمِيلْ
وَكَلَّمَهُ الْمَوْلَى الْجَلِيلْ
ʿalal ʿarshi raqal jamīl
wakallamahul mawlal jalīl
The Beautiful One ascended to the Throne,
And The Majestic Lord spoke to him
وَقَالَ أَبْشِرْ يَا خَلِيلْ
شَفَاعَتُكَ لِمَنْ تَخْتَارْ
waqāla abshir yā khalīl
shafāʿatuka liman takhtār
And He said, “Rejoice, O beloved friend,
Your intercession is for whomever you choose.”
فَهُوَ عِمَادِي يَوْمَ الْمَعَادِ
نَبِيُّنَا طٰهَ الْمُخْتَارْ
fahuwa ʿimādī yawmal maʿādi
nabiyyunā ṭāhal mukhtār
For he is my support on the Day of Resurrection,
Our Prophet Taha, the Chosen One
صَلُّوا مَعَنَا
ṣallū maʿanā
Send blessings with us
صَلَّى مَوْلَانَا عَلَيْهْ
وَالْآلِ وَالصَّحْبِ لَدَيْهْ
ṣallā mawlānā ʿalayh
wal āli waṣ ṣaḥbi ladayh
May our Lord send blessings upon him,
And upon his Family and the Companions around him
مَنْ جَاهَدُوا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهْ
وَنَوَّرُوا لَنَا الْأَفْكَارْ
man jāhadū bayna yadayh
wanawwarū lanal afkār
Those who strove in his presence,
And illuminated our minds for us
فَهُوَ عِمَادِي يَوْمَ الْمَعَادِ
نَبِيُّنَا طٰهَ الْمُخْتَارْ
fahuwa ʿimādī yawmal maʿādi
nabiyyunā ṭāhal mukhtār
For he is my support on the Day of Resurrection,
