اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد
يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمْ
Allahumma ṣalli ʿalā muḥammad
yā rabbi ṣalli ʿalayhi wasallim
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad
O Lord, send blessings and peace upon him
فِي حُبِّ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّد
نُورٌ لِبَدْرِ الْهُدَى مُتَمَّمْ
fī ḥubbi sayyidinā muḥammad
nūrun libadril hudā mutammam
In the love of our master Muhammad
A light for the full moon of guidance, completed
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد
يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمْ
Allahumma ṣalli ʿalā muḥammad
yā rabbi ṣalli ʿalayhi wasallim
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad
O Lord, send blessings and peace upon him
قَلْبِي يَحِنُّ إِلَى مُحَمَّد
مَا زَالَ مِنْ وَجْدِهِ مُتَيَّمْ
qalbī yaḥinnu ilā muḥammad
mā zāla min wajdihi mutayyam
My heart longs for Muhammad
Still captivated by his presence
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد
يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمْ
Allahumma ṣalli ʿalā muḥammad
yā rabbi ṣalli ʿalayhi wasallim
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad
O Lord, send blessings and peace upon him
مَالِي حَبِيبٌ سِوَى مُحَمَّد
خَيْرِ الرُّسُلِ النَّبِيِّ الْمُكَرَّمْ
mālī ḥabībun siwā muḥammad
khayrir rusulin nabiyyil mukarram
I have no beloved but Muhammad
The best of the messengers, the honored prophet
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد
يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمْ
Allahumma ṣalli ʿalā muḥammad
yā rabbi ṣalli ʿalayhi wasallim
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad
O Lord, send blessings and peace upon him
شَوْقُ الْمُحِبِّ إِلَى مُحَمَّد
أَفْنَاهُ ثُمَّ بِهِ تَهَيَّمْ
shawqul muḥibbi ilā muḥammad
afnāhu thumma bihi tahayyam
The lover's longing for Muhammad
Consumed him, then he became enraptured
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد
يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمْ
Allahumma ṣalli ʿalā muḥammad
yā rabbi ṣalli ʿalayhi wasallim
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad
O Lord, send blessings and peace upon him
فِي الْحَشْرِ شَافِعُنَا مُحَمَّد
مُنْجِي الْخَلَائِقِ مِنْ جَهَنَّمْ
fīl ḥashri shāfiʿunā muḥammad
munjīl khalā’iqi min jahannam
On the Day of Gathering, our intercessor is Muhammad.
Rescuer of creation from the Hellfire
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد
يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمْ
Allahumma ṣalli ʿalā muḥammad
yā rabbi ṣalli ʿalayhi wasallim
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad
O Lord, send blessings and peace upon him
مِيْلَادُ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّد
أُمُّ الْقُرَى بَلَدٌ مُعَظَّمْ
miylādu sayyidinā muḥammad
ummul qurā baladun muʿaẓẓam
The birth of our master Muhammad
The mother of villages (Mecca), a revered land
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد
يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمْ
Allahumma ṣalli ʿalā muḥammad
yā rabbi ṣalli ʿalayhi wasallim
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad
O Lord, send blessings and peace upon him
أَحْيَا الدُّجَى زَمَانًا مُحَمَّد
مَوْلَاهُ سَلَّمَهُ وَكَلَّمْ
aḥyad dujā zamānan muḥammad
mawlāhu sallamahu wakallam
Muhammad revived the dark of his own time, and his light endures through every age
His Lord protected and spoke to him
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد
يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمْ
Allahumma ṣalli ʿalā muḥammad
yā rabbi ṣalli ʿalayhi wasallim
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad
O Lord, send blessings and peace upon him
أَدْعُوكَ أَحْمَدُ يَا مُحَمَّد
يَا سَيِّدَ الرُّسُلِ الْمُقَدَّمْ
adʿūka aḥmadu yā muḥammad
yā sayyidar rusulil muqaddam
I call you Ahmad, O Muhammad
O master of the foremost messengers
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد
يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمْ
Allahumma ṣalli ʿalā muḥammad
yā rabbi ṣalli ʿalayhi wasallim
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad
O Lord, send blessings and peace upon him
إِشْفَعْ إِلَى اللَّهِ يَا مُحَمَّد
يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَيْ أُنَعَّمْ
ishfaʿ ila Allahi yā muḥammad
yawmal qiyāmati kay unaʿʿam
Intercede with Allah, O Muhammad
On the Day of Judgment, so I may be blessed
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد
يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمْ
Allahumma ṣalli ʿalā muḥammad
yā rabbi ṣalli ʿalayhi wasallim
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad
O Lord, send blessings and peace upon him
أَرْجُو الشَّفَاعَةَ مِنْ مُحَمَّد
لَوْ كُنْتُ أَرْتَكِبُ الْمُحَرَّمْ
arjūsh shafāʿata min muḥammad
law kuntu artakibul muḥarram
I hope for intercession from Muhammad
Even if I were to commit the forbidden
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد
يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمْ
Allahumma ṣalli ʿalā muḥammad
yā rabbi ṣalli ʿalayhi wasallim
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad
O Lord, send blessings and peace upon him
مَنْجَا وَمَلْجَأُنَا مُحَمَّد
يَوْمَ الْهَوَانِ بِهِ تَحَشَّمْ
manjā wamalja’unā muḥammad
yawmal hawāni bihi taḥashsham
Our refuge and shelter is Muhammad
On the day of disgrace, he is revered
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد
يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمْ
Allahumma ṣalli ʿalā muḥammad
yā rabbi ṣalli ʿalayhi wasallim
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad
O Lord, send blessings and peace upon him
وَالنُّورُ جَاءَ بِهِ مُحَمَّد
وَالْحَقُّ بَيَّنْ وَإِنْ تَكَلَّمْ
wan nūru jā’a bihi muḥammad
wal ḥaqqu bayyan wa in takallam
And the light came with Muhammad
And the truth was clarified when he spoke
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد
يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمْ
Allahumma ṣalli ʿalā muḥammad
yā rabbi ṣalli ʿalayhi wasallim
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad
O Lord, send blessings and peace upon him
أَعْلَى السَّمَاءِ سَمَا مُحَمَّد
جِبْرِيلُ قَالَ لَهُ تَقَدَّمْ
aʿlas samā’i samā muḥammad
jibrīlu qāla lahu taqaddam
Above the heavens, Muhammad rose
Gabriel said to him, "Advance"
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد
يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمْ
Allahumma ṣalli ʿalā muḥammad
yā rabbi ṣalli ʿalayhi wasallim
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad
O Lord, send blessings and peace upon him
وَالْجُنْدُ حِينَ غَزَا مُحَمَّد
مِنْهُمْ مَلَائِكَةٌ تَسَوَّمْ
wal jundu ḥīna ghazā muḥammad
minhum malā’ikatun tasawwam
And the army, when Muhammad fought
Among them were angels marked
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد
يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمْ
Allahumma ṣalli ʿalā muḥammad
yā rabbi ṣalli ʿalayhi wasallim
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad
O Lord, send blessings and peace upon him
وَالدِّينَ أَظْهَرَهُ مُحَمَّد
وَالْكُفْرَ أَبْطَلَهُ فَهَدَّمْ
wad dīna aẓharahu muḥammad
wal kufra abṭalahu fahaddam
And the religion was manifested by Muhammad
And disbelief was nullified and demolished
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد
يَا رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمْ
Allahumma ṣalli ʿalā muḥammad
yā rabbi ṣalli ʿalayhi wasallim
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad
O Lord, send blessings and peace upon him
صَلَّى الْإِلَهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّد
وَالْآلِ كُلِّهِمِ وَسَلِّمْ
ṣallal ilahu ʿalā muḥammad
wal āli kullihimi wasallim
May God send blessings upon Muhammad
And all his family, and grant peace
