عُودِي يَا لَيَالِي الرِّضَا
بِالأُنْسِ الَّذِى قَدْ مَضَى
ʿūdī yā layālīr riḍā
bil unsil ladhi qad maḍā
Bring back, O Nights of Joy,
the comfort that once existed
قَدْ رَضِىَ المَحْبُوبْ
وَنِلْنَا المَطْلُوبْ
qad raḍial maḥbūb
wa nilnāl maṭlūb
The Beloved is content
and we have achieved the goal
وَنَادَى مُنادِي الشَّرَفْ
عَفَا اللَّهُ عَمَّا سَلَفْ
wa nādā munādīsh sharaf
ʿafā Allahu ʿammā salaf
The Herald of Honor calls out:
"Allah has pardoned all that has transpired."
يَا مَنْ عَوَّدُونَا الوَفَا
أَنْتُمْ حَسْبُنَا وَكَفَى
yā man ʿawwadūnāl wafā
antum ḥasbunā wa kafā
O you who has accustomed us to loyal fulfillment
You are our sufficiency and all we need
يَا أَهْلَ المَعْرُوفْ
وَالصَّفْحِ المَأْلُوفْ
yā ahlal maʿrūf
waṣ ṣafḥil mālūf
O People of righteousness
and constant pardoning
عَبْدٌ بِالذُّنُوبِ اعْتَرَفْ
عَفَا اللَّهُ عَمَّا سَلَفْ
ʿabdun bidh dhunūbi āʿtaraf
ʿafā Allahu ʿammā salaf
(I am) a servant, who confesses all sins
"Allah has pardoned all that has transpired."

عَبْدٌ عَنْكُمُ لَمْ يَحُلْ
وَمِنْ صَدِّكُمْ قَد يَحُلّ
ʿabdun ʿankumu lam yaḥul
wa min ṣaddikum qad yaḥull
(I am) a servant that has never turned from you
and who has been freed from your rejection
وَاصِلُوا المَهْــجُـورْ
واجْبُرُوا المَكْــسُورْ
wa ṣilūl mahjuwr
wājburūl maksūr
Bring close the lonely
and mend the broken
وَارْحَمُوا شَدِيدَ الأَسَفْ
عَفَا اللَّهُ عَمَّا سَلَفْ
wa rḥamū shadīdal asaf
ʿafā Allahu ʿammā salaf
Have mercy on the distressed
"Allah has pardoned all that has transpired."

man li ghayrukum artajī
wa ilā bābi man altajiī
Who is there other than you to place my hope in
and to whose door do I seek refuge.
مَــــــــا لِفَـاقَتـِـــــي
إِلَّا سَـــــادَتـِــــــــــــــــي
maā lifaāqatiī
illā saādatiī
There's none to help my desperation
exception for my masters
مَالِي عَنْكُمُ مُنْصَرَفْ
عَفَا اللَّهُ عَمَّا سَلَفْ
mālī ʿankumu munṣaraf
ʿafā Allahu ʿammā salaf
I will never turn away from you

وَمِنْكُمْ نَنَالُ الـــــوَفَا
tarā hal yazūlul jafaā
wa minkum nanālul wafā
Do you think that abandonment will cease
and that we will achieve loyalty from you
كُونُوا لِي أَنْتُــــــمْ
كَمَا قَــــــدْ كُـــنْتُمْ
kūnū lī antum
kamā qad kuntum
Be for me,
as you once were.
قُولُـوا عَبْدَنَـــا لا تَـخَفْ
عَفَا اللَّهُ عَمَّا سَلَفْ
qūluw ʿabdanaā lā takhaf
ʿafā Allahu ʿammā salaf
Say, "O servant of Ours, fear not!
Allah has pardoned all that has transpired."

famunnū bighufrānikum
I have no favor but that from you,
so bless us with your forgiveness.
لِلعَبْدِ الجَانِي
جَمِّ العِصْيَانِ
lilʿabdil jānī
jammil ʿiṣyāni
...for this sinful servant
replete with disobedience
عَلَى بَابِكُمْ وَقَفْ
عَفَا اللَّهُ عَمَّا سَلَفْ
ʿalā bābikum wa qaf
ʿafā Allahu ʿammā salaf
who is standing at your door.
"Allah has pardoned all that has transpired."
