Translation

Ṣalli rabbī ʿala n-nabiyyi, shafīʿinā Aḥmad

Blagoslovi, Gospode, Verovesnika, zagovornika našeg Ahmeda

Blagoslovi, Gospode, Verovesnika, našeg zaštitnika Muhammeda

The people that in darkness dwelt,

Narod koji je u tami boravio,

A glorious light have seen

Svetlost veličanstvenu je ugledao

God's prophet now to them hath come,

Božiji poslanik im je sada došao,

Muhammad, Al-Amin

Muhammed, El-Amin

We hail thee, Allah's Prophet true,

Pozdravljamo tebe, Alahov istinski Poslaniče,

Of prophecy the seal

Pečatu celog poslanstva

We read with reverence the Book,

Sa strahopoštovanjem čitamo Knjigu,

Thou wast sent to reveal

Koju si poslat da objaviš

For thou the burden did'st remove,

Jer ti si breme uklonio,

Idolatry's fell rod

Kobni štap idolopoklonstva

And in thy day the idols fell,

Before the Sword of God

To bless Arabia and the world,

Da blagosloviš Arabiju i svet,

Most surely thou wast raised

Zaista si ti uzdignut

We'll sing thy praises evermore,

Pevaćemo tvoje hvale doveka,

Our Mustafa, the praised

Naš Mustafa, Hvaljeni

We watch with gentle, fostering care,

Bdijemo s nežnom, brižnom pažnjom,

The seed that thou hast sown

Nad semenom koje si posejao

And trust to hear the world declare,

God's prophet as its own
