Ṣalli rabbī ʿala n-nabiyyi, shafīʿinā Aḥmad
Ṣalli rabbī ʿala n-nabiyyi, shafīʿinā Aḥmad
Ishe wangu ropafadzai Muporofita murevereri wedu Ahmad
Ishe wangu ropafadzai Muporofita tenzi wedu Muhammad
The people that in darkness dwelt,
Vanhu vaya vaigara murima dema,
A glorious light have seen
Chiedza chinobwinya vakachiona
God's prophet now to them hath come,
Muporofita waMwari zvino auya kwavari,
Muhammad, Al-Amin
Muhammad, iye Al-Amin
We hail thee, Allah's Prophet true,
Tinokukwazisai, Muporofita wechokwadi waAllah,
Of prophecy the seal
Chisimbiso chehuporofita chose
We read with reverence the Book,
Tinoverenga Bhuku neruremekedzo rukuru,
Thou wast sent to reveal
Ramakatumwa kuti muzozivisa
For thou the burden did'st remove,
Nokuti makabvisa mutoro unorema,
Idolatry's fell rod
Tsvimbo yakaipa yekunamata zvifananidzo
And in thy day the idols fell,
Mumazuva enyu zvifananidzo zvakawiswa,
Before the Sword of God
Pamberi peMunondo waMwari
To bless Arabia and the world,
Kuti muropafadze Arabia nenyika yose,
Most surely thou wast raised
Zvirokwazvo makamutswa nechinangwa ichi
We'll sing thy praises evermore,
Tichaimba rumbidzo dzenyu nariini,
Our Mustafa, the praised
Mustafa wedu, iye akarumbidzwa
We watch with gentle, fostering care,
Tinotarisa nerudo rwekuchengetedza,
The seed that thou hast sown
Mbeu iya yamadzvara neshungu
And trust to hear the world declare,
Tine chivimbo chekunzwa nyika ichizivisa,
God's prophet as its own
