Translation

Ṣalli rabbī ʿala n-nabiyyi, shafīʿinā Aḥmad

Revarsă, Doamne, binecuvântări asupra Profetului, mijlocitorul nostru Ahmed

Revarsă, Doamne, binecuvântări asupra Profetului, stăpânul nostru Muhammad

The people that in darkness dwelt,

Poporul care în întuneric sălășluia,

A glorious light have seen

O lumină glorioasă a zărit

God's prophet now to them hath come,

Profetul lui Dumnezeu la ei a venit acum,

Muhammad, Al-Amin

We hail thee, Allah's Prophet true,

Te salutăm, adevărat Profet al lui Allah,

Of prophecy the seal

Pecetea profeției

We read with reverence the Book,

Citim cu evlavie Cartea,

Thou wast sent to reveal

Pe care ai fost trimis să o dezvălui

For thou the burden did'st remove,

Căci tu povara ai îndepărtat,

Idolatry's fell rod

Toiagul crunt al idolatriei

And in thy day the idols fell,

Și în vremea ta idolii au căzut,

Before the Sword of God

Înaintea Sabiei lui Dumnezeu

To bless Arabia and the world,

Spre a binecuvânta Arabia și lumea,

Most surely thou wast raised

Cu adevărat ai fost înălțat

We'll sing thy praises evermore,

Îți vom cânta laudele pururea,

Our Mustafa, the praised

Mustafa al nostru, cel lăudat

We watch with gentle, fostering care,

Veghem cu blândă și ocrotitoare grijă,

The seed that thou hast sown

Sămânța pe care ai semănat-o

And trust to hear the world declare,

Și nădăjduim să auzim lumea vestind,

God's prophet as its own

Pe Profetul lui Dumnezeu ca fiind al său
