Anthem for the Prophet ﷺ
ਨਬੀ ﷺ ਲਈ ਤਰਾਨਾ

Ṣalli rabbī ʿala n-nabiyyi, shafīʿinā Aḥmad
Ṣalli rabbī ʿala n-nabiyyi, shafīʿinā Aḥmad
ਐ ਮੇਰੇ ਰੱਬਾ! ਰਹਿਮਤਾਂ ਭੇਜ ਨਬੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਸ਼ਫ਼ੀਅ ਅਹਿਮਦ 'ਤੇ
ਐ ਮੇਰੇ ਰੱਬਾ! ਰਹਿਮਤਾਂ ਭੇਜ ਨਬੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਮੌਲਾ ਮੁਹੰਮਦ 'ਤੇ
The people that in darkness dwelt,
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਜ਼ੁਲਮਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਘੋਰ ਅੰਧੇਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਸਨ
A glorious light have seen
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਨੂਰ-ਏ-ਅਜ਼ੀਮ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ
God's prophet now to them hath come,
ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਦਾ ਨਬੀ ਹੁਣ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ
Muhammad, Al-Amin
ਮੁਹੰਮਦ, ਅਲ-ਅਮੀਨ
We hail thee, Allah's Prophet true,
ਅਸੀਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਜੀ ਆਇਆਂ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਅੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਦੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਰਸੂਲ
Of prophecy the seal
ਨਬੁੱਵਤ ਦੀ ਮੋਹਰ
We read with reverence the Book,
ਅਸੀਂ ਅਦਬ ਤੇ ਅਕੀਦਤ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਹਾਂ
Thou wast sent to reveal
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ
For thou the burden did'st remove,
ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਭਾਰੀ ਬੋਝ ਹਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ
Idolatry's fell rod
ਬੁੱਤ-ਪ੍ਰਸਤੀ ਦੀ ਉਹ ਕਹਿਰਵਾਨ ਲਾਠੀ
And in thy day the idols fell,
ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਦੌਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਬੁੱਤ ਢਹਿ ਗਏ
Before the Sword of God
ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਦੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ
To bless Arabia and the world,
ਅਰਬ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਹਾਨ ਦੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਲਈ
Most surely thou wast raised
ਬੇਸ਼ੱਕ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਮਬਊਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ
We'll sing thy praises evermore,
ਅਸੀਂ ਸਦਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਮਦਹ-ਸਰਾਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਾਂਗੇ
Our Mustafa, the praised
ਸਾਡੇ ਮੁਸਤਫ਼ਾ, ਜੋ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਲਾਹੇ ਗਏ
We watch with gentle, fostering care,
ਅਸੀਂ ਬੜੀ ਮੁਹੱਬਤ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਫ਼ਕਤ ਭਰੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ
The seed that thou hast sown
ਉਹ ਬੀਜ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਬੀਜਿਆ ਹੈ
And trust to hear the world declare,
ਤੇ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਹਾਨ ਇਹ ਐਲਾਨ ਕਰੇਗਾ
God's prophet as its own
ਕਿ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਦਾ ਨਬੀ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੈ
