Ṣalli rabbī ʿala n-nabiyyi, shafīʿinā Aḥmad
Ṣalli rabbī ʿala n-nabiyyi, shafīʿinā Aḥmad
Dalitsani, Ambuye wanga, Mtumiki Ahmad muomboli wathu
Dalitsani, Ambuye wanga, Mtumiki Muhammad mbuye wathu
The people that in darkness dwelt,
Anthu amene ankakhala mumdima
A glorious light have seen
Aona kuwala kwaulemerero
God's prophet now to them hath come,
Mtumiki wa Mulungu wafika kwa iwo tsopano

We hail thee, Allah's Prophet true,
Tikukupatsani ulemu, Mtumiki woona wa Allah
Of prophecy the seal
Chidindo cha uneneri
We read with reverence the Book,
Timawerenga Bukuli mwaulemu
Thou wast sent to reveal
Limene munatumidwa kuti mudzaliwulule
For thou the burden did'st remove,
Pakuti munachotsa katundu wolemetsa
Idolatry's fell rod
Ndodo yopondereza ya kupembedza mafano
And in thy day the idols fell,
Ndipo m’masiku anu mafanowo anagwa
Before the Sword of God
Patsogolo pa Lupanga la Mulungu
To bless Arabia and the world,
Kuti mudalitse Arabiya ndi dziko lonse
Most surely thou wast raised
Ndithudi munatumidwa ndi kukwezedwa
We'll sing thy praises evermore,
Tidzayimba matamando anu nthawi zonse
Our Mustafa, the praised
Mustafa wathu, wotamandidwa
We watch with gentle, fostering care,
Timayang'anira mwachifundo ndi chisamaliro
The seed that thou hast sown
Mbewu imene mudadzala
And trust to hear the world declare,
Ndipo tikhulupirira kumva dziko likulengeza
God's prophet as its own
