الْـنَّـوَى وَالْـبَـيْـنُ أَقْـلَـقَـنِـي
وَغَـشِـيَ الْـقَـلْـبُ وَ إِحْـتَـرَقَ
Le distantia e le separation me ha perturbate,
e le corde ha essite obnubilate e ha ardite
الـلَّـهْ الـلَّـهْ الـلَّـهْ الـلَّـهْ يَـا مَـوْلَانَـا
لَا بُـدَّ مِـن فَـنَـاء الْـمُـلْـكُ يَـبْـقَـى لِـلَّـه
Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, o nostre Senior!

بِـثَـوْبِ رِضَـاكُـمْ كَـفِّـنُـونِـي
بِـبَـابِ حِمَاكُمْ أَلْـحِـدُونِـي
In le vestimento de Vostre complacencia, sudaria me,
al limine de Vostre porta, sepeli me

هَـذَا مُـحِـبٌّ قَـدِ احْـتَـرَقْ
E scribe super mi tumba un nota,
"Iste es un amante qui ha ardite de brama"
