Ṣalli rabbī ʿala n-nabiyyi, shafīʿinā Aḥmad
Ṣalli rabbī ʿala n-nabiyyi, shafīʿinā Aḥmad
O ene Jauna, bedeinka ezazu Profeta, gure bitartekari Ahmed
O ene Jauna, bedeinka ezazu Profeta, gure gidari Muhammad
The people that in darkness dwelt,
Iluntasunean bizi zen herriak,
A glorious light have seen
Argi loriatsu bat ikusi du
God's prophet now to them hath come,
Jainkoaren profeta etorri zaie orain,
Muhammad, Al-Amin
Muhammad, Al-Amin
We hail thee, Allah's Prophet true,
Agurtzen zaitugu, Alaren egiazko Profeta,
Of prophecy the seal
Profetutzaren zigilua
We read with reverence the Book,
Begirunez irakurtzen dugu Liburua,
Thou wast sent to reveal
Agerrarazteko bidalia izan zinena
For thou the burden did'st remove,
Zuk karga kendu baitzenuen,
Idolatry's fell rod
Idolatriaren zigor krudela
And in thy day the idols fell,
Eta zure garaian idoloak erori ziren,
Before the Sword of God
Jainkoaren Ezpataren aurrean
To bless Arabia and the world,
Arabia eta mundua bedeinkatzeko,
Most surely thou wast raised
Egiazki izan zinen zu altxatua
We'll sing thy praises evermore,
Zure gorespenak abestuko ditugu betiko,
Our Mustafa, the praised
Gure Mustafa, goretsia
We watch with gentle, fostering care,
Zaintza samur eta hazleaz begiratzen dugu,
The seed that thou hast sown
Zuk ereindako hazia
And trust to hear the world declare,
Eta munduak aitortuko duela espero dugu,
God's prophet as its own
