I envy the sand that met his feet
Cenfigennaf wrth y tywod a gyffyrddodd â'i draed
I’m jealous of honey he tasted sweet
Cenfigennaf wrth y mêl a flasodd yn felys
Of birds that hovered above his head
Wrth yr adar a hofranodd uwch ei ben
Of spiders who spun their sacred web
Wrth y pryfed cop a nydodd eu gwe sanctaidd
To save him from his enemies
I'w achub rhag ei elynion
I envy clouds formed from the seas
Cenfigennaf wrth y cymylau a ffurfiwyd o'r moroedd
That gave him cover from the heat
A roes iddo gysgod rhag y gwres
Of a sun whose light could not compete
Rhag haul na allai ei lewyrch gystadlu
With his, whose face did shine so bright
Ag ef, yr hwn y tywynnai ei wyneb mor ddisglair
That all was clear in blinding night
Nes bod y cyfan yn eglur mewn nos ddallol
I envy sightless trees that gazed
Cenfigennaf wrth y coed dall a syllai
Upon his form completely dazed
Ar ei wedd yn gwbl syfrdan
Not knowing if the sun had risen
Heb wybod a oedd yr haul wedi codi
But felt themselves in unison
Ond yn eu teimlo eu hunain mewn undeb
With those who prayed, and fasted too
Gyda'r sawl a weddïodd, ac a ymprydiodd hefyd
Simply because he told them to
Yn syml oherwydd iddo ef ddweud wrthynt
With truth and kindness, charity
Gyda gwirionedd a charedigrwydd, elusen
From God who gave such clarity
Oddi wrth Dduw a roes gyfryw eglurder
His mercy comes in one He sent
Daw Ei drugaredd yn yr un a anfonodd
To mold our hearts more heaven bent
I lunio ein calonnau tuag at y nefoedd
I envy all there at his side
Cenfigennaf wrth bawb yno wrth ei ochr
Who watched the turning of the tide
A welodd droad y llanw
As truth prevailed and falsehood fled
Pan orchfygodd y gwir ac ffoes yr anwiredd
And hope restored life to the dead
A gobaith a adferodd fywyd i'r meirw
Men and Women through him found grace
Cafodd dynion a merched ras trwyddo ef
To seek together God’s noble face
I geisio gyda'i gilydd wyneb bonheddig Duw
I envy the cup that gave him drink
Cenfigennaf wrth y cwpan a roes iddo ddiod
His thoughts that helped us all to think
Ei feddyliau a'n cynorthwyodd ni i gyd i feddwl
To be one thought that passed his mind
I fod yn un meddwl a basiodd trwy ei feddwl
Inspiring him to act so kind
Gan ei ysbrydoli i weithredu mor garedig
For me this world is not one jot
I mi, nid yw'r byd hwn ond ronyn
If I could simply be a thought
Pe gallwn fod yn ddim ond un meddwl
From him to God throughout the ages
Oddi wrtho at Dduw trwy'r oesoedd
As revelation came in stages
Fel y daeth y datguddiad fesul cam
I pity all who think it odd
Tosturiaf wrth bawb sy'n tybio ei fod yn rhyfedd
To hear him say there is one God
Clywed ei fod yn dweud bod un Duw
Or he was sent by God to men
Neu iddo gael ei anfon gan Dduw at ddynion
To hone their spirits’ acumen
I hogi craffter eu hysbrydion
It’s pride that blinds us from the sight
Balchder sy'n ein dallu rhag y golwg
That helps good men to see his light
Sy'n helpu dynion da i weld ei oleuni
He taught us all to be God’s slaves
Dysgodd inni i gyd fod yn gaethweision i Dduw
And he will be the one who saves
Ac ef fydd yr un a achub
Humanity from sinful pride
Dynoliaeth rhag balchder pechadurus
Muhammad has God on his side
Mae gan Muhammad Dduw ar ei ochr
So on this day be blessed and sing
Felly ar y dydd hwn byddwch fendigedig a chanwch
For he was born to grace our Spring
Canys fe'i ganed i urddas ein Gwanwyn
With lilies, flowers, life’s rebirth
Gyda lilis, blodau, ailenedigaeth bywyd
In a dome of green like his on earth
Mewn cromen werdd fel ei un ef ar y ddaear
