Ṣalli rabbī ʿala n-nabiyyi, shafīʿinā Aḥmad
Ṣalli rabbī ʿala n-nabiyyi, shafīʿinā Aḥmad
Sama Boroom julli ci Yonent bi sunu ramumu Ahmed
Sama Boroom julli ci Yonent bi sunu sang Muhammadu
The people that in darkness dwelt,
Nit ñi dëkkon ci biir lëndëm gu tar,
A glorious light have seen
Gis nañu leeral gu tedd gu leer nàññ
God's prophet now to them hath come,
Yonentu Yàlla bi ñëwal na leen léegi,
Muhammad, Al-Amin
Muhammadu, Al-Amiin bi ñu wóolu
We hail thee, Allah's Prophet true,
Nuyyu nañu la, yaw Yonentu Yàlla bu dëggu bi,
Of prophecy the seal
Yaw mi di karku ak nàjju yonent yi
We read with reverence the Book,
Ñu ngi jàng Téere bi ak worma gu rëy,
Thou wast sent to reveal
Yaw mi ñu yonni ngir nga peeñale ko
For thou the burden did'st remove,
Ndaxte yaw nga dindi yen bu metti bi,
Idolatry's fell rod
Ak lijaasu jaamu xërëm bi bonoon
And in thy day the idols fell,
Te ci sa jamono xërëm yi daanu nañu,
Before the Sword of God
Ci kanamu jaasiy Yàlla ji ràññax
To bless Arabia and the world,
Ngir barkeel réewu Araabi ak àdduna bépp,
Most surely thou wast raised
Loolu moo tax dëgg-dëgg yékkati nañu la
We'll sing thy praises evermore,
Dinu weey di la tagg ba fàww,
Our Mustafa, the praised
Sunu Mustafaa bi ñu gërëm ba keroog
We watch with gentle, fostering care,
Ñu ngi sàmm ak saytu gu neex te sell,
The seed that thou hast sown
Jiwu bi nga ji woon ci xol yi
And trust to hear the world declare,
Te am yaakaar ne àdduna dina biral,
God's prophet as its own
