Sefela sa Moprofeta ﷺ

Transliterate

Translation

Ṣalli rabbī ʿala n-nabiyyi, shafīʿinā Aḥmad

Morena oa ka, hlohonolofatsa Moporofeta, mmoelli oa rona Ahmed

Morena oa ka, hlohonolofatsa Moporofeta, mong'a rona Muhammad

The people that in darkness dwelt,

Sechaba se neng se phela lefifing,

A glorious light have seen

Se bone leseli le phatsimang haholo

God's prophet now to them hath come,

Moporofeta oa Molimo joale o fihlile ho sona,

Muhammad, Al-Amin

We hail thee, Allah's Prophet true,

Rea u lumelisa, Moporofeta oa nnete oa Allah,

Of prophecy the seal

Tiiso ea boporofeta

We read with reverence the Book,

Re bala Buka ka boikokobetso le tlhompho,

Thou wast sent to reveal

Eo u rometsoeng ho e senola

For thou the burden did'st remove,

Hobane u tlositse moroalo o boima,

Idolatry's fell rod

Thupa e sehlōhō ea borapeli ba litšoantšo

And in thy day the idols fell,

Mme mehleng ea hao melimo ea bohata e ile ea oa,

Before the Sword of God

Kapela Sabole ea Molimo

To bless Arabia and the world,

Ho hlohonolofatsa Arabia le lefats'e ka bophara,

Most surely thou wast raised

Ruri ka nnete u ile ua phahamisoa

We'll sing thy praises evermore,

Re tla bina lithoko tsa hao ka ho sa feleng,

Our Mustafa, the praised

Mustafa oa rona, ea roriswang

We watch with gentle, fostering care,

Re fadimehile ka tlhokomelo e bonolo le e holisang,

The seed that thou hast sown

Peo eo u e jetseng

And trust to hear the world declare,

Mme re tšepa ho utloa lefats'e le phatlalatsa,

God's prophet as its own
