Antema ho an'ny Mpaminany ﷺ

Translation

Ṣalli rabbī ʿala n-nabiyyi, shafīʿinā Aḥmad

Mandrotsaha fitahiana, ry Tompo, ho an’ny Mpaminany Ahmad mpanalalana anay

Mandrotsaha fitahiana, ry Tompo, ho an’ny Mpaminany Muhammad Mpitarika anay

The people that in darkness dwelt,

Ireo vahoaka izay nitoetra tao anatin’ny haizina,

A glorious light have seen

Dia nahita hazavana feno voninahitra

God's prophet now to them hath come,

Tonga teo amin’izy ireo ankehitriny ny mpaminanin’Andriamanitra,

Muhammad, Al-Amin

I Muhammad, ilay Al-Amin

We hail thee, Allah's Prophet true,

Miarahaba anao izahay, ry Mpaminany marin’Allah,

Of prophecy the seal

Ianao no tombo-kasen’ny faminaniana

We read with reverence the Book,

Vakianay amim-panajana fatratra ny Boky,

Thou wast sent to reveal

Izay nirahina nampitainao

For thou the burden did'st remove,

Satria ianao no nanala ny enta-mavesatra,

Idolatry's fell rod

Ny tsorakazo masiakan’ny fanompoan-tsampy

And in thy day the idols fell,

Ary tamin’ny andronao dia nianjera ireo sampy,

Before the Sword of God

Teo anoloan’ny Sabatr’Andriamanitra

To bless Arabia and the world,

Mba hitahiana an’i Arabia sy izao tontolo izao,

Most surely thou wast raised

Efa natsangana tokoa ianao

We'll sing thy praises evermore,

Hohirainay mandrakizay ny fiderana anao,

Our Mustafa, the praised

Ry Mustafa-tsika, ilay mendri-dera

We watch with gentle, fostering care,

Arahi-maso amim-pitiavana sy fiahiana feno,

The seed that thou hast sown

Ny voa izay nafafinao

And trust to hear the world declare,

Ary manantena ny handre izao tontolo izao hanambara,

God's prophet as its own
