اَلـلَّـهُ يَـا اَلـلَّـه صَـلَّـى عَـلَـى الـزَّيْـن
Deus, o Deus, benedic Formoso.

اَلـلَّـهُ يَـا اَلـلَّـه
صَـلْـوا عَـلَـى الْـزَّيْـنِ
Allah, o Allah
Benedicite Formoso
طَـاطَـا الْـقَـمَـرْلِأَحْـمَـد
وَانْـشَـقَّ نِـصْـفَـيْـنِـى
Luna Ahmadi paruit
et in duas partes fissa est
أَبُـو بَـكْـرُ يَـا صِـدِّيـقْ
صَـاحِـبِ الْـنَّـبِـى وَرَفِـيـق
O Abu Bakr, o Verax
comes et amicus Prophetae
بِرُوحُهْ فَدَاهْ فِي الضِّيقْ
مِـنْ لَـدْغَـةِ الْـنِّـيـنِـى
Anima sua eum in angustiis redemit
morsum serpentis pro eo perpessus
لَـمَّـا عُـمَـرْ أَسْـلَـم
فَـرِحَ الْـنَّـبِـى وَتَـبَـسَّـم
Cum Umar Islamum amplexus est
gavisus est Propheta et subrisit
تَـبَـاشَـرَ الْإِسْـلَام
بِـدُخُـولِـهْ فِـي الْـدِّيـنِـى
Islamus nuntia laeta accepit
ingressu eius in fidem
عُـثْـمَـانُ يَـا عُـثْـمَـان
يَـا جَـامِـعَ الْـقُـرْءَان
O Uthman, o Uthman
o Alcorani collector
صِـهْـرِ الْـنَّـبِـى الْـعَـدْنَـان
زَوَّجَـهُ بِـنْـتَـيْـنِـى
Gener Prophetae Adnani
qui duas filias ei despondit
عَـلِـىُّ يَـا كَـرَّار
سَـيْـفُـكَ طَـوِيـل بَـتَّـار
O Ali, o bellator fortis
gladius tuus est longus et acer
يَـا هَـازِمَ الْـكُـفَّـار
قَـتَـلَ الْـمَـلَاعِـيـنِـى
O domitor infidelium
qui hostes exsecrabiles percussit
جَـاتُـهْ الْـمُـرَبِّـيَـةْ
حَـلِـيـمَـةْ الْـسَّـعْـدِيَّـة
Ad eum nutrix venit
Halima Sa'diyya
قَـالَـتْ وَهَـبُـوةْ لِـيَـا
يَـا رَبِّ هَـنِّـيـنِـى
Dixit: "Concede mihi eum
o Domine, laetifica me per eum"
جَـالُـه الْـجَـمَـل جَـالُـه
يَـزْحَـف عَـلَـى عِـقَـالُـه
Camelus ad eum venit
reptans super retinaculum suum
لَـمَّـا جَـالُـه جَـمَـالُـه
سَـلِّـم عَـلَـى الـزَّيْـنِـى
Cum pulchritudinem eius aspexit
Formosum salutavit
