Transliterate

Translation

Ṣalli rabbī ʿala n-nabiyyi, shafīʿinā Aḥmad

Blagoslovi, Gospodaru, Vjerovjesnika, našeg zagovornika Ahmeda

Blagoslovi, Gospodaru, Vjerovjesnika, našeg prvaka Muhammeda

The people that in darkness dwelt,

Narod koji u tami obitavaše,

A glorious light have seen

Svjetlost veličanstvenu vidio je

God's prophet now to them hath come,

Božiji im je Poslanik sada došao,

Muhammad, Al-Amin

Muhammed, El-Emin

We hail thee, Allah's Prophet true,

Pozdravljamo te, o Allahov istinski Poslaniče,

Of prophecy the seal

Pečate vjerovjesništva

We read with reverence the Book,

S poštovanjem čitamo Knjigu,

Thou wast sent to reveal

Koju si poslan da objaviš

For thou the burden did'st remove,

Jer ti si taj koji je teret uklonio,

Idolatry's fell rod

Kobni štap idolopoklonstva

And in thy day the idols fell,

I u tvoje doba kumiri padoše,

Before the Sword of God

Pred Mačem Božijim

To bless Arabia and the world,

Da blagosloviš Arabiju i svijet,

Most surely thou wast raised

Zaista si ti uzdignut bio

We'll sing thy praises evermore,

Tvoje ćemo hvale pjevati zauvijek,

Our Mustafa, the praised

Naš Mustafa, hvaljeni

We watch with gentle, fostering care,

Brižno i s pažnjom čuvamo,

The seed that thou hast sown

Sjeme koje si ti posijao

And trust to hear the world declare,

I uzdamo se da će svijet proglasiti,

God's prophet as its own
