Anthem for the Prophet ﷺ
نشيد للنبي ﷺ
Ar
Ṣalli rabbī ʿala n-nabiyyi, shafīʿinā Aḥmad
Ṣalli rabbī ʿala n-nabiyyi, shafīʿinā Aḥmad
صَلِّ رَبِّي عَلَى النَّبِيِّ شَفِيعِنَا أَحْمَدْ
صَلِّ رَبِّي عَلَى النَّبِيِّ مَوْلَانَا مُحَمَّدْ
The people that in darkness dwelt,
إنَّ الشُّعُوبَ الَّتِي فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ سَكَنَتْ
A glorious light have seen
بَصُرَتْ بِنُورٍ سَنِيٍّ بَاهِرِ الظُّهُورِ
God's prophet now to them hath come,
نَبِيُّ رَبِّكَ قَدْ جَاءَ لَهُمْ رُشْدًا
Muhammad, Al-Amin
مُحَمَّدٌ، الصَّادِقُ الْأَمِينُ الْمُجْتَبَى
We hail thee, Allah's Prophet true,
نُحَيِّيكَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ فِي صِدْقٍ
Of prophecy the seal
يَا خَاتَمَ الرُّسْلِ فِي طُهْرٍ وَفِي شَرَفِ
We read with reverence the Book,
نَقْرَأُ الْكِتَابَ بِإِجْلَالٍ وَتَعْظِيمٍ
Thou wast sent to reveal
بِمَا أُرْسِلْتَ لِتَجْلُوَ عَنْ بَصَائِرِنَا
For thou the burden did'st remove,
لِأَنَّكَ الثِّقْلَ وَالْأَوْزَارَ قَدْ نَزَعْتَ
Idolatry's fell rod
وَعَصَا الضَّلَالِ وَالشِّرْكِ قَدْ كُسِرَتْ
And in thy day the idols fell,
وَفِي زَمَانِكَ سَقَطَتِ الْأَصْنَامُ خَاشِعَةً
Before the Sword of God
أَمَامَ سَيْفِ اللهِ قَدْ خَرَّتْ صَاغِرَةً
To bless Arabia and the world,
لِتُبَارِكَ أَرْضَ الْعُرْبِ وَالْعَالَمَ كُلَّهُ
Most surely thou wast raised
لَقَدْ بُعِثْتَ يَقِيناً لِلْبَرِيَّةِ هَادِياً
We'll sing thy praises evermore,
سَنَظَلُّ نَشْدُو بِمَدْحِكَ أَبَدَ الدَّهْرِ
Our Mustafa, the praised
يَا مُصْطَفَانَا، يَا مَحْمُودَ الصِّفَاتِ
We watch with gentle, fostering care,
نَرْعَى بِرِفْقٍ وَرِعَايَةٍ حَانِيَةٍ
The seed that thou hast sown
تِلْكَ الْبُذُورَ الَّتِي فِي الرُّوحِ بَذَرْتَ
And trust to hear the world declare,
وَنَرْجُو بِأَنْ يُعْلِنَ الْعَالَمُ لِلْوَرَى
God's prophet as its own
بِأَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ قَدْ صَارَ نَبِيَّهُ
