Anthem for the Prophet ﷺ
ለነቢዩ ﷺ መዝሙር
Am
Ṣalli rabbī ʿala n-nabiyyi, shafīʿinā Aḥmad
Ṣalli rabbī ʿala n-nabiyyi, shafīʿinā Aḥmad
ጌታዬ ሆይ በአማላጃችን አሕመድ ላይ እዝነትን አውርድ
ጌታዬ ሆይ በጌታችን ሙሐመድ ላይ እዝነትን አውርድ
The people that in darkness dwelt,
በጨለማ ውስጥ ይኖሩ የነበሩ ሕዝቦች
A glorious light have seen
ታላቅ ብርሃንን ተመልክተዋል
God's prophet now to them hath come,
የአላህ ነቢይ አሁን ወደ እነርሱ መጥቷል
Muhammad, Al-Amin
ሙሐመድ አል-አሚን (ታማኙ)
We hail thee, Allah's Prophet true,
እውነተኛው የአላህ ነቢይ ሆይ ሰላምታ እናቀርብልሃለን
Of prophecy the seal
የነቢይነት መደምደሚያ የሆንከው
We read with reverence the Book,
መጽሐፉን በአክብሮት እናነባለን
Thou wast sent to reveal
አንተ እንድትገልጸው የተላክህለትን
For thou the burden did'st remove,
አንተ ሸክሙን አስወግደሃልና
Idolatry's fell rod
የጣዖት አምልኮን ክፉ በትር
And in thy day the idols fell,
በአንተም ዘመን ጣዖታት ወደቁ
Before the Sword of God
በአላህ ሰይፍ ፊት
To bless Arabia and the world,
ዓረብያንና ዓለምን ለመባረክ
Most surely thou wast raised
በእርግጥም አንተ ተልከሃል
We'll sing thy praises evermore,
ውዳሴህን ለዘላለም እናዜማለን
Our Mustafa, the praised
ሙስጠፋችን ሆይ ምስጉን የሆንከው
We watch with gentle, fostering care,
በለሰለሰና በሚንከባከብ ጥንቃቄ እንጠብቃለን
The seed that thou hast sown
አንተ የዘራኸውን ዘር
And trust to hear the world declare,
ዓለሙም ሲያውጅ ለመስማት እንተማመናለን
God's prophet as its own
የአላህን ነቢይ የራሱ አድርጎ
